I could get some tone, but only the upper half of my 8ths bassline!

Can please someone get me some basic presets or explain how to create a bassline? Because the little I get, sounds great and dirty! its like
'BUMZ-BUMZAP-ZUM-BUMZ-ZOOMZ" just 8ths- very smooth

i really lack free time around the winter, so not much progress yet
also, i'm still waiting for the x0xb0x CPU mod (it seems it's not ready yet)
otherwise my list of ideas about the features grows and grows..
one of the main ideas now is: to make both Venom and n0nx0x share as much code as possible
i already changed Venom's sequencer and copy/pasted a huge chunk of code from n0nx0x which works now, but i need to make some big changes in n0nx0x code too (cuz i don't like how it looks anymore and is restricting me)
this will happen when i have the bigger CPU..

some good news: i have a new sound card with MIDI (yeey) .. big thanks to rv0
so, i can now add MIDI output to Venom i guess (for example, to control your x0xb0x or midi-fied 303 with it)

hey, here's a little idea, for the auto/random functions:
a 'density' parameter(or whatever you'd call it) on the slides,
accents, gates randomizers. that way you could determine how many
get put it in etc. blabla..

afaik, the PCB is ready, his has some issues finding resources to get the microcontrollers themselves..

hi, i see it's 'some time in march', over there, for the cpu mod.
so..have you considered a cutdown version of the firmware, that could
fit on existing cpu? that does sequencer right, but dumps something else?
this, before attacking the modded cpu version?
(and therefore a cutdown plugin... ?)
i read someone suggesting this, for those machines that are not upgraded.
it seems a good idea.

Tried your Venom 303 plugin this morning and had a blast with it. I didn't read the 29 pages of comments here, so forgive me if these have already been mentioned:

-some of the little slider switches don't respond well to mouse click/drag
-I'm running my system at 1280x1024 resolution - this seems to make the onscreen controls for Venom difficult as the plugin is tiny on the screen

As far as sound quality, it sounds great! Spent some time messing with automation envelopes in live and it seems to respond to these pretty good. Nice work.

i didn't see beta2 so i ended up d/l the first beta. a little frustrated when i didn't hear any audio coming out of my dinosaur CPU. read thru all 26 pages & found beta2 and everything is working now !!!

great VST i am initally very please w/ it thanks for making it.
