Looking for a Uni-vibe type VST plug. Must run in Reaper. Free would be cool too, but not 100% essential. Thanks for any good recommendations.

The one in Amplitube 3 sounds spot on. Not sure if you want to go all out and buy Amplitube 3 just for the Univibe though.

This, it's called a pedal called Uni-V on Amplitube 3.

Thanks for the info, but yeah, I don't want to pay $350 for Amplitube 3.

Thanks, but I'm not interested in paying $350 for one effect.

B&H Photo has it for $270 new, and $180 crossgrade.

That's cool of you to post that, but even if it was $50 it would probably be too much for me, at this time. Maybe if I found it for $40. :hihi:

Here's the thing...if you need a Uni-Vibe like effect, then use the simulanalog one. If you need something that sounds exactly like a Uni-Vibe (a la Hendrix playing the Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock or Machine Gun with the Band of Gyspy's) then you're only real option for that specific sound is Amplitube 3. So, I can certainly sympathize with you not wanting to spend the money if you don't have to, but sometimes you do.

Huh, different strokes. I was thinking the exact opposite. The one in A3 is just kind "meh" to my ears. The Simuanalog wins in my opinion. :) The effect is more pronounced and vibrato-y.

See, in AT3, I plug in my Strat, load up the Uni-Vibe, a Fuzz, and a Marshall and I've instantly got the Machine Gun tone. That Uni-Vibe sim nails that tone so closely it's scary. I could never get that with the Simuanalog one.

...and soon the Uni-Vibe might be more in the price range you seek.

In what way does it differ from the one in the Ampltube Jimi Hendrix package?
