Version 1.1:
- Updated the clipper circuit :o
- Added a DIY control panel, because I love knobs/sliders

Here's some history of the different tube screamer variations and mods you can obtain which might help if you decide on tweaking this further. I thought the first version was spectacular.

BTE's TSS tube screamer vst has been  since this was released. :hihi:

LOL i wonder how many KVRers even know what treasure we have here...

This plugin just killed all other Tubescreamer simulations. :)

Any plans to release a version that lets you plug and play with different common mods, or include an instruction sheet that helps people figure out what the hell they're doing?

But more importantly, can I make this thing sound GOD AWFUL through tweaking? That was always one of my favorite things about ReValver MkIII, you can completely f' up an amp circuit and it will behave fairly realistically. Put the wrong parts together and all it does is go WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECCHCHCHKCKHCKWHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, which speaks well of the modeling authenticity. I will experiment forthwith, both with some common adjustments of the filters and to see if I can get this thing to explode.

Cheers!

Wow that is an insanely beautiful thing!
Could this be the most modded circuit of all time?

Post

Beautful plugin. Probably the best virtual tubescreamer out there. Featured it on my blog

I'm afraid there is no shortcut for this as you need to have quite good understanding of electronics to really understand what's happening in the circuits. So back to the school seat. :)

metalifuxx posted a link to a page that has possibly all the info you ever need to know about TS and mods. Maybe try those and save as presets.

Thanks for the great sim onqel, works wonderfully as a boost. :)

Holy smokes! This is a dream come true! A VST that allows you to tweak the component values at the schematic level? I must be dreaming. If I'm not, this is the most amazing advancement in plugin features since Revalver Mk II. A million thanks, Onqel, this is really a mind-blowing release.

I'm quite competent to mod my own pedals in the real world, thanks! ;) I'm just thinking of others who see components and don't know a resistor from a capacitor or the significance of enabling/disabling diodes.
