Well poop, the ibby forums are down and I've been wanting to see if anyone else had opinions of the one I posted a while back. Someone who owns one is really into them but the price (so far) is very high.
You know I have to have an ibby, but ffs most of them have whammies (I've got the uber whammy, I want a hard tail
)
Anyways I'm just babbling......

That new lower-priced Paul Gilbert model is slick. The tone he gets in the demo video is super impressive. Oh, and it's got a stop tailpiece.

If it was not a whopping pricetag the fr1620 would be mine! After checking reviews, talking to some peeps and doing more looking than I should (I should be playing what I have
But that pricetag is so high and I can't try it first (there will never be one of those in my neighborhood......NEVER!)

Schecter's? Whats the problem with those. I like the red or the black. Haha. Sorry no help.hibidy wrote:It's my money, I'll do with it as I please
So I ask, red, or black?
Hopefully tomorrow I'll be getting a pre-owned but studio used only Gibson SG Supreme. It's the funky fireburst color, but I'm thinking I'm going to refinish. Value be damned this thing is likely going to be my number one for years!

I'm getting the black one. I'll be out the shipping back if I don't like it but I'm sure I will.
I looked and looked and looked and asked questions all over the place and watch peoples lame demos and tried to find one at a better price, but in the end I'm going to end up taking it for full street. The used ones I've seen are factory refurbs (which I don't wan't) so I'm probably going to pull the trigger.
STRAT LOVERS: Anyone interested in a good condition EC strat with a tweed case please pm me (pics/story on request) We'll discus price over PM (I guarantee you it will be pretty low)

I'll likely be getting a Strictly 7 custom job, based on their cobra shape (which is RG-ish).
Gonna have a 27.5" scale and be tuned GDADGBe. And it will rock once I get the money.
