Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a way to define MSEG values using a text editor or a script?

For example if I want to set up 7 steps in the MSEG, and use it to define a scale.

Best regards,

Gino

What kind of scale do you need? If it's a subset of our (western) chromatic scale, this is quite easy to do by setting Value Snap to 12 or 24.

Thanks Howard, yep that makes it a lot easier :)

FWIW - I do wish the MSEG reported the values when your adjusting them like the User LFO and Mod Mapper.

sorry if this is obvious, but where in the program do you set the Value Snap?

Simpler (but perhaps not quite so exciting and rewarding) alternative: Look it up in the manual
