TSAR-1 is only 32-bit. Insane for a new product to not have a 64-bit version. I would go with the RP-Verb. it sounds great....and is also available in 64-bit.Artgiver wrote:Has anyone demoed the new Softube TSAR-1 Reverb. Was thinking of buying it just from hearing the samples on the site - until i saw this thread.
Finally tried the RP-Verb demo - it can actually be as smooth as my LXP bundle. amazing

Did anyone mention that RP verb comes with a great RP delay as a bundle. I own an RP verb ever since it was out, and then got an RP delay as an upgrade for free! Rob and Jon really did a fantastic job with these two plugins.

Wow, more helpful info. I really appreciate these threads more than you all know due to my work schedule. Especially ttoz because it seems he is really familiar with a lot of these plugs whereas i'm so busy i hardly even have the time to demo the very plug-ins i'm going to buy (try 60/70 hrs per week).
I was in fact considering the tonelux tilt eq as well.

RP-Verb and RP-Delay are extremely awesome imo.
RP-Verb has a wonderful lush and beautiful sound that is very pleasing to my ears. I think many other Reverbs are too 'cold' or metallic for my music.
Both plugins come with many many presets which makes using them easy.
RP-Delay is terrific for it's crazy sound-possibilities.
totally happy with both those plugins.
Rob is also a great guy to deal with and his decision to go the serial number route for copy protection is something I happily support buy buying his software.

Agreed. It's great that he ditched the iLok protection. I'm buying within the next few weeks...
