iPad keyboard controller via WIFI....too much delay?

Anybody getting acceptable results? The two apps (Hex OSC Full & ExpressionPad) I have using WIFI have too much lag to be useful as a musical controller. The two apps (MidiPads & MusicStudio) I have that use the camera adapter kit and the M-Audio UNO USB-MIDI work great with no noticable delay. Hopefully there is something wrong with my home WIFI setup that can be corrected if I know there are others out there getting good results over WIFI.

I had this problem too - I'm on OSX and with this you can setup a local network (I call it OSCnet) and once you've connected the iPad to that network you'll find the lag is reduced considerably.

If you're on windows something like Internet Connection Sharing should get you there..

Thanks for the advice. Good to know the lag problem over WIFI can be overcome.
