(IOW, judge softly, but be sure to only throw stones into the distance, so that the leopard chases THEM and not you.)

Have you seen the video where the guy demos the mastering features of Studio One? Pretty sophisticated stuff. I mean if your looking for a reason to buy it...hibidy wrote:Had is more appropriatemusikmachine wrote:Just how many do you have?
The only one I can think of I didn't own was samplitube. And I most certainly have demoed it. (didn't gel with me for some odd reason)

I can't find the actual link but there's a scottish guy running through all the main features. I didn't know that the mapped controls of your midi controller could switch to whatever plugin is in focus, that's pretty cool. Always been an issue trying to control multiple plugins in a project with the same controller.
But tr1mph, it's only $20.11c! You'll regret it in years to come.

Likewise but it's the way it's all integrated and the modular approach. Iirc you can upload your tracks directly to soundcloud and sites like that from within S1.*hibidy wrote:Mastering? lol, I'd have to actually finish something firstmusikmachine wrote:Have you seen the video where the guy demos the mastering features of Studio One? I did pretty good, but two minor fails
The 20.11 price was way too good a deal for S1 artist.
26.35 for ABG "headcase"
The big FAIL might come in the form of a new guitar. I guess the ol' college try is not getting it done

*sigh* I did epic fail on the guitar. You could call it an early bday present, but still between it, and the other two I did not meet my goal (which was NOTHING till march 4th). I've got the money for it but I suck at deadlines (odd too, because when I worked I always met my deadlines

I would like to snatch up OTS' EAG Steel String while it's at this price and possibly Trilian, but after that I need to stop buying sh*t. Time to work on actually finishing something with what I have.
I think it's time to start working solely with piano for a while and using that to write for other instruments until something is close to being finished!

Oh yeah, this thread
I gave up. I've tried to be good (and was, ok-ish for a little while) but gearaholic is as gearaholic does
The good news is that I've got some great stuff!

...months later sorry hibidy I didn't reply to you.
The z6 is older it doesn't have a current os. Many of the things I imagined were not possible. It's still fun but not half as fun as the baby. The next ztar I will drop cash on (prolly in 20 years when I can afford it) will be a z5 or my dream, a custom mini 12 with z-5 type neck
