Cubase 6 and RMV 5.0.6 doesnt like each other much, we're working n a fix from our end, and will release an update as soon as possible.

Feel free to post anything else LinPlug releated you notice in Cubase 6 in this thread

Thanks Peter. I have been trying C6 here, both 32 & 64 bit, with the RMV, and have noticed no problems .. however I only ever use the sample/synth triggers (no loops) so maybe that's why ??

Post

Thats the reality of Software :) We have customers experiencing a crash either on startup or on shutdown of RMV within Cubase 6 and we even can reproduce it, though ... on some machines it doesnt happen :-D

Found a critical RM V bug: Distorted sound. Tried loading the same sample in a different sampler and it sounds normal there. It also sounded normal in RMV and cubase 5.5.
I made 100% sure nothing is wrong with pad settings (everything is off), asio/soundcard settings, tried changing pads, etc.
Hope you can sort this out asap.

EDIT: Tried reinstalling and installing earlier versions; same problem.

EDIT2: Same problem in x86 and x64 version of the plugin

EDIT3: Got it sorted. It appears there was a problem with the drumkit preset. Reseting it to all empty pads seems to fix it.

Not sure if this is the right topic. I use Cubase 5.1 (I just updated from Cubase SX to 5 and now I find out there's already a Cubase 6!!)
I worked with the LinPlug VST in one project. It worked great and the realistic drum sounds made me extremely happy. Close the project, Cubase hangs. Ever since, it fails to load the RMV plugin. I've tried to reinstall without success.
I'm @ Win7 86x.

Anyone else who experienced something similar?

This rather sounds as if there is something corrupted in the registry. I would use regedit, find the LinPlug folder and delete everything which starts with RMV in that LinPlug folder. THEN reinstall. If you are not sure how to do that, please contact support
