Hello folks,

long time no talk, I've been VERY busy working with my instruments and the other necessities of life so I haven't been able to be here much lately, but I've just updated my three main VSTi's and my web page.

Recently, with the hard work of member Xichael, Roberson Audio Synthesizers has re-established a web presence and is hosting the RA Mowg, Oddy-Free, and Prophanity instruments online again.

The website is http://robersonaudio.tk.

Currently, I have updated my Prophanity and Oddy-Free instruments to version 1.4 and RA Mowg to version 1.2. The main modification has been filter work to all of them to sound more robust without sacrificing the analog style nature of the plugins. As I have warned around my site, take special precaution not to drive the resonance up too high on these instruments, they WILL scream and hurt your hearing and possibly speakers. Specific details for each instrument can be found on their respective pages on my site.

Anywho, hope everyone enjoys the updates, let me know how they come out for you all. Also, don't forget to regularly check in with the Roberson Audio homepage, as, with a reliable web front, I will be keeping a much more regular status on operations of Roberson Audio on that site.

Cheers,
Chris Roberson

*edit* - Fixed the hotlink. Thank you bob bobwood for jumpstarting my memory. :)

Well let's see; http://robersonaudio.tk/

"Oddy-free-v1.4; it is BIG sounding now."

Thanks for the work you've put in on these, Oddy was amongst the first vsti I ever tried out. BIG sounding is what it always needed, can't wait to give a bash.

I heed your warnings. Cheers.

Thank you for the update, Chris.

So how's it sounding for everyone? Are the new filters pleasing?

Any new problems anyone is having with the instruments?

Thanks a lot for your work, Chris.

They're all sounding very good (though only found a short while for playing with them). Sorry for not being more specific as do not own any of the originals to have comparism.
My fave is the oddy which is capable of some really good weird sounds, love it. :D

ok, have to add that the prophanity also gives out some top-noise madness when playing with the filters, great

Thank you for the kind words. :)

To everyone: keep in mind, while I don't PLAN on doing any further updates for these instruments (I think there has to come a point where you set it down and enjoy it for what it is and has become), if you find or have ANY problems or bugs, let me know and I can look into it.

Cheers,
Chris

Thanks for these ... will check 'em out later :)

Hey Chris :)
Thank you very much for your synths, I enjoyed the previous versions and these ones sound even better! :)

However, I see - and it makes my heart bleed and cry - that you seem to have removed my very favorite synth by you (and one of my favorites in general, too): Tervoxsyn. That's one of the best Theremins out there, one of the very few to focus on the lesser known Theremin sounds, and the only one I know that really got them. And, regardless of the emulation aspect, it's one of the most fascinating vst's for me, it really instantly takes me back to a different era. Why this lack of love for it? :(

the sound of RA Moog is really good, now someone has to make an even better skin to make this plugin perfect!

Actually, I've been thinking about this for quite some time. I'll see if I can pull the latest version up from my hard drive and toss it up online. I kind of want to update it further, I'd like to put CC#s to the pitch and volume so one could conceivably control the unit in a traditional sense (then I just have to have someone make a hardware controller with antenna to control it the traditional way. :P )

Anyways, I'll look into it, and post up if and when I get it uploaded. :)

how about control from asus's kinect-alike device for PC, would be a D-Beam killer, lol.

just noticed Tervoxsyn2 and mini-vynrevision2update are up now, thanks Chris.

Tervoxsyn is awesome, always been one of my favorites for retro atmosphere!

Thanks for the compliments guys, and you are very welcome. :)

I've been meaning to get those two up for a while now, and since I've finished my degree and have no more studies to keep me preoccupied I'm hoping to put a great majority of focus on supporting and updating my current synths as well as finishing up my new ones so I can get them to the public.

It's kinda nice to have real time to work on instruments again. :)
