I saw a documentary about her a few years ago, where she went to Brazil to learn some Samba percussion to participate in Carnival. It was pretty amazing to watch her pick up on such complex patterns. She is definitely an inspiring individual! Her accuracy would be impressive enough but the nuance she produces really makes you think about the musical process. I'm a pretty sloppy, self taught keyboard player, yet I've had brilliant piano players in my studio that couldn't play a convincing horn or string part on keys to save their life! As technology continues to bring better virtual instruments, I think it allows more human nuance to come through. It's really cool to experience the breakthroughs developers are coming up with. -Perry-
