Bad Cat would be great, I agree. Last time I saw my pals in American Hi-Fi play they used Bad Cat amps but I'll have to check if they stuck witht hem. Previously it was mostly Marshall, but the Bad Cat heads they were using sounded better live, at least to me.

Wow,you guys must be speechless over that last pic!
I have one more Orange to show you... don't think this model has been revealed yet.

Any guesses?
Here's a hint... it's my personal favorite out of all the Orange models coming to the Custom Shop!
(OK, that wasn't a very good hint...)

haha! That's ttoz, and he's famous for that quote. You are on the wrong forum if you are put off by the lot of us getting excited about gearTom music wrote:My d**k isn't going to get any harder. Enough with the teasing. Swing, baby!

Careful now, we don't want anyone to get hurt!
Hibidy, might not be the ideal time to be asking for the beef...

I noticed it, figured it would have been in the "out of context" thread.

This is a much more fun thread than the one in the Instruments forum.
Brian, thanks for the response but I'd already seen/read the links you posted.
The "custom shop" is a great idea I'll treasure for years to come, but I echo hibidy's question: "What's included in 3.5 other than it being 64 bit?"
Honestly, the 64bit thing is huge to me, so I can say thanks. But a major release a few weeks away and it's free, you should already be gloating if there's anything else in it.
The gear shots are great but no one's biting on all that going to be free, no one's anticipating great improvement in the software. We 64 bitters know how 3.5 will make our lives easier, 32 bitters don't care.
So again, major release, a few weeks away. And many of us are skeptically looking at our checkbooks for this free release, instead of exhalting AT3 and IK.
And I find out about this almost to the day that Omnisphere 1.5 dropped. "Major release, it's free, people will weep with joy" and that was sooo last year, but I wept again.
My hope is that the "custom shop" will give us a limited number of options to choose from in this free release. It's a perfect idea for guitar players as you well know.
But your servers will crash and burn, you will be excoriated for all-time (see Sonar X1) and worse, I think your making hibidy's posts sound salient and relevant.
Doooom.
Heck, again, AT3 just being 64 bit is enough for me, but I don't know what you're doing in this 3.5 release. C'mon guys, be proud guitarist/engineers mad-scientist MBA-holders the world expects you to be. Hype 3.5 to kingdom come, and please have it available on March 10th
.
You guys are cool regardless.

I think 64-bit and a new way to try and buy only the models you want for as little as $5 a piece is a pretty big deal in the AmpliTube world. But you want more... OK. Aside from a slew of issues and user suggestions being addressed, we've also added this:

Brian I'm sorry. If I didn't say how happy I am about AT3.5, I meant to. I reread my post and I get where I sounded greedy, and my implied humor didn't work for me either.Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:I think 64-bit and a new way to try and buy only the models you want for as little as $5 a piece is a pretty big deal in the AmpliTube world. But you want more... OK. Aside from a slew of issues and user suggestions being addressed, we've also added this:
I'm not looking for freebies, and I really wanted to "go off" on a couple of guys in the instruments forum about the whole 64bit deal because AT3 is the only 32bit plug-in I use, and I defend it heavily with friends that have thousands of dollars in classic gear (stacks upon stacks, and foot-pedaled hardware) and they pretty much own every ampsim out there.
I'm probably in the bottom 5 percentile of an AT3 user even though the guitar is the only instrument I play (I poke at keyboards decently after 20 years or so).
A year later, I know I've barely scratched the surface of AT3, but I've scratched hard with extreme intent.
What's funny is "a slew of user issues being addressed" without specifics doesn't neccesarily mean anything, and AT3 is just great as it is.
There's at least 3 people who have posted in this thread that can tell you why a 64bit version is personally important to me.
I don't want IK to waste time figuring that out either - it all comes down to your setup - so if IK is happy, I'm happy too, and I have no doubt I'll dine "a la carte".
It's still the greatest idea in history for guitarists though, but I repeat myself.
