Hey do you have any idea if it is possible to get IL Drumsynth Live VST to work in Win7 64-bit...?
I tried with two different machines and in both it gives you Access violation at address 000000. Read of address 0000000. kind of error message.
And yeah, Win7 64-bit, but I used 32-bit hosts (Live 8.2.1 and Studio One 1.6.1) and same problem in both. Maybe some update upcoming to change it to Win7 64-compatible? (and no, I am not expecting a true 64-bit plug in near future as it would require total recoding, but a 32-bit plug that works in Win7 64-bit.
I tried many drum synths and this is by far the best I have encountered. I really wish there would be an update!

It works fine here.
Did you download the installer recently or a long time ago? Could you try redownloading and reinstalling it?

Are you sure that you have 64-bit version of Windows 7? (you see it in Control Panel --> System --> System typereflex wrote:It works fine here.

I got it to work in 32-bit Windows 7 though, but not 64-bit Windows 7.

Yes I did. And I tried with two different machines and two different hosts, access violation on all four combinations.reflex wrote:Yes, quite sure.golemus wrote:Are you sure that you have 64-bit version of Windows 7? (you see it in Control Panel --> System --> System type

Any other people that got drumsynth live to work with Win7 64-bit or experience of the Access Violation error...?

Could you give me some info about the two machines that you tried it on?
Also, what hosts did you try? Did you try FL Studio (always interesting to know if it works in it)?

Both are Core2Duo, Win7-64, M-Audio Fasttrack Pro and Firewire 1814 interfaces. Host was Ableton Live 8.2.1. I think I tried it also with Presonus Studio One and experienced the same, but I am not 100% sure. I didn't try FL Studio, but FL Studio has a different, integrated version of Drumsynth Live, you don't need the VST version or so I have understood.reflex wrote:Could you give me some info about the two machines that you tried it on?

Yes, that's correct. But I also wrote the VST host in FL, so it might be interesting to know if it works there.golemus wrote:I didn't try FL Studio, but FL Studio has a different, integrated version of Drumsynth Live, you don't need the VST version or so I have understood.
Do you have User Account Control on or off?
