Hello,
I have a number of presets for a Noismaker bank I am trying to compile, but in both Cantabile, FL Studio and Minihost, I am unable to import the presets into a bank. I can export individual .fxp successfully, but never compile to a bank. Have I missed something?

Got the same problem. Can't compile a bank. My .fxp presets always load in the same preset position/number.

A: This problem will be fixed with the next update. I also added a host and
System independent Load and Save Preset function...I'll make the release in a few days

Ok, with the release of the latest Version 3.03, Noizemaker can load/save presets out of the GUI, Patrick heard your wishes!

Checked out the new version, it's very nice but does not address the issue exactly.
My problem is that I cannot create a bank of presets; an .fxb
Is this a bug or just not going to change?
I don't really want to offer people a big zip file full of individual presets if I release these, but I have no way to compile a bank.
In particular, in minihost I can compile a bank of 18 presets, but on the 19th, the whole bank resets to the default noisemaker bank.

Hi Ouroboros,
I found kind of solution, it's not perfect,but working fine.
I had 64 presets for Tal Noisemaker and I couldn't build a bank either.
solution:
1. download bank called "Banks & Patches" by peterdh from download section of KVraudio,
2. load minihost and load this bank.
3. open preset manager
4. now copy (copy button below) one of inital presets (they are from number about 100 to 255) in the left window. You can use this preset ("default patch" ) to fill rest of patches on the left (paste button below the window). For example: I needed bank for 64 patches. So I cleared patches from 64 with that initial preset (cause it counts from 00) to 91. You can fill out rest of remained patches (in my case 00-63) with Your own presets.
5. Save bank.
You can try it, it works well for me !

It is an odd preset set-up, isn't it? I have had more success recently importing in native presets, and saving the bank after each one. Otherwise it randomly returns to the default bank.
A blank bank should ship with every synth!

You forgot something, if you compile a bank in the "*.fxb" format, Mac users cannot load your bank into Noizemaker. Logic and Cubase stopped supporting the *.fxb format...! (at least i heard cubase stopped it, too)
