Martin,

Are you going to update the separate chorus vst plugin with the new "hidden" controls as well?

It sounds nice on guitar too

Sure, since that was just a side-product anyway. In fact, I can just make a chorus where the controls are simply the speed and the depth. In the current version, the two settings just correspond to two specific speed and depth settings.

I might add a stereo width as well...

latest worked great to me. I'm not a deep synth programmer at all, but messed around with a bunch of sliders. Sounded great, not glitches found by me.

Only thing that confused me for a sec was where it said "Downsampler" I thought that was part of the "Quality" due to the words proximity to the Quality number.
I wouldn't mind seeing light gray or gold or something around any controls that are enhancements, not found on the real keyboard. just a thought.

Good job. Sounds great.

has it got a decent GUI yet?

edit: website shows a diff GUI to last one i saw, looks better

I was thinking of something like this as well, but have not got around to do it yet. I first wanted to get a working version out there quickly before the weekend.

I will see how I can make it more clear. I also will add some documentation on the web-page.

Actually, the screenshot on the web page was not quite up-to-date updated now...), and I am still planning some small cosmetic changes to the GUI.

its def better, if a bit on the large side...one thing i would def change, the red text/numbers/shapes..change to black, red is very hard to read on a grey background

How close is this to the sound of the real thing? Can it do decent basses?

hmmm.. mono setting resets to poly each time close and open the gui in reaper. Is it a bug?

Yes, it's a bug. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce that behaviour in my host (Cubase), so it will be a bit tricky to fix it.

Does it only happen with the Key-assignment buttons, or are there any other controllers which do the same? Have you seen such behaviour in any other Synthedit made plugin?

maybe it's related to the fact that key-assignment setting isn't stored with the patch, something you asked in your poll

maybe it's enough to implement a patch mem for this setting to eliminate the bug in Reaper?

Actually it should be stored with the patch at the moment. Would you mind checking whether it actually does on your system? Maybe there is a problem with this part of the GUI. In fact, there are patchmems for each of the buttons. It was a bit tricky to get the righ behaviour with mutually exclusive buttons, which have three values each. I hope my 'hack' works on all systems...

Maybe Reaper is resetting the patch whenever opening the GUI... That would explain that it goes back to whatever setting is stored with the patch.

It's doing the same in FL Studio too.

I need to correct. It does it in Cubase too. At least that will make it easier for me to find it...

When I switch from Poly to Mono any notes that were held become latched. Actually I like that - especially when using portamento.

It would be nice to have MIDI Learn on the jx-chorus plugin.
