So it says this plug in is free, and you click to download and will not let you download unless you donate! that is false advertisement, and misdirection! if it said it cost money i would pay, but to demand a donation after it says free is Bullsh@^! now i dont want it.

What exactly are you trying to download and where from?
http://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.net/
Right at the top of the page, directly under the title is the download link. You don't have to donate anything at all if you don't want to.

If it's like it was before, you have to compile the source to get a plugin out of it, but there's always user-compiled vst releases, like here- http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=268277

You might want to put that on hold. As folderol asked, exactly who and what is asking you for money?SlayedJr wrote:I in no way mind paying, what upsets me is that it said free and then asked for money, im doing the whole paypal thing now

How about you guys cut the O/P some slack eh?
It's easy to laugh at someone who is stumbling over what you might think is easy. Personally I prefer to try to help.

main site. Some sites are purposely like an arcade game, to get extra mouseclicks
I can't come up with any good excuses when I do it. But my wife can

Some sites are indeed like arcade games. I've seen Open Office packaged with a SMS code entry to even allow the install to get past even the first page. I don't mind paying for something that is good, but if some fool tries to sell something they haven't programmed then there is obviously a significant malfunction in the brain of that person who packaged it. A malfunction so crucial that one braincell sits in a wheelchair and the other refuses to push it. This is not directed to the OP.

Don't patronise us with the "Knight in Shining Armour" routine here. What slack did the O/P cut the author of this (free, as it happens) synth before he dragged his knuckles in with a stroppy "it says free is Bullsh@^! now i dont want it." rather than a decent attempt to work out whether he was just mistaken or misdirected?folderol wrote:How about you guys cut the O/P some slack eh?

Was he forced at gunpoint to hand over money? Would sending Paul an email to verify before sending money have been so mind-bendingly hard?
But by all means, feel free to waste your time. We'll see what thanks you get in return.
