What I meant was that you would see the normal waveform display, but when you moved the mouse and hovered over a particular frequency - you would hear the selected items and see them highlighted maybe in a different colour, so that you could be sure from looking at the display what parts of the audio you were hearing as a result of your harmonics/spraywidth settings.

You could then tweak the spraywidth accordingly if you wanted to filter out something that was close to one of the harmonics, and then return to see/hear the result on the waveform display.

The ability to enable/disable this mode via a button would maybe be useful to avoid CPU loading.

Would it also be possible to have the real time synthesis controlled via the 'spray width' and 'harmonics/magnet' modifiers?
This would allow you to hear the selection as defined by the spray width and harmonics/magnet modifiers, and even better - if this 'selection' could be 'seen' on the waveform display?
Excellent idea. What do you mean with the waveform display thing though? It would show the waveform display for only the current ranges for everything? Well that might look nice, however one problem is you'd end up spending a lot of CPU power redrawing this thing over and over again.

It says demo. Is there any limitations? If yes, do you have a non-demo usable with an existing license or do we have to wait for the next official release?

Well if you have a full commercial license you can download the latest beta build from the download page (the one you access using your serial number thing), otherwise you'll have to wait until the next official release.

The ability to download the latest beta from the download page is a new thing I added a few minutes ago, and I'll regularly update the latest builds as I make them. I'm trying to make the commercial license more interesting while also allowing a few to enjoy the newest features.

Great! Just bought into the professional version like every one should. :)

I'll have to try on windows later, but in osx when I check for update it's still at 1.8.2. I really want to try the new features!

A-SN has stated several times in this thread that he's developing in Windows environment and then ports to Mac OS when the Windows version is tested and debugged.

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

The update page lists the mac and windows version and both are at 1.8.2 for me. I just tried it on my windows machine and it's the same thing. Do you see 1.8.3 on the update page?

If you have a full commercial version then the two last links, below the license link, are the latest beta, both for Windows and Mac.

Spitfire, usually the Mac beta is lagging behind when it comes to Mac specific things as I tend to take care of those things before releasing but I still release the Mac beta. I think the Mac menu is pretty much up to date though. Also I'm not sure if the build I made available works on older versions of Mac OS X as I used Xcode 4 but this things confusing me so I'm going back to Xcode 3.

Is it missing because I bought it through the MU promo deal? Or am I looking in completely the wrong place? I see 1.8.2, 1.8.1 and the link for the license file. It also says only updates until 3.0, but I'm not worried about that. :)

Oh wait, the MU promo licenses were supposed to be the full commercial ones, right? I think I goofed somewhere when I entered the 200 hundred of those. Anyway that's fixed now.

Anyway, I've implemented linear knob control, it's an option in the Options menu and it's persistent (it remembers when your restart the program). Just tell me if it's too slow or if I should change something about it. I've uploaded the Windows beta already, will do the Mac one in a few minutes.

I've also just gone to the download page but only get the option to download 1.8.2, 1.8.1 and the License file link. It also says I get updates until 3.0
There is no link to any beta versions though?

You have a non-commercial license, correct?
