Swing in Dance Music (Logic 9 )

Hi There,

do you put swing on all elements in the track bar the kick & clap, someone told me ableton has some good swings for dance music.

is 16F a good logic swing for dance music?

Whats tracks do you use swing and how much ... 30% ??? is it only drum tracks and your main lead etc

If your kick or pad or whatever only uses long notes on the beats, a 16th note (or 8th note) swing won't have any affect on them one way or the other. Swing only changes notes that start between the beats. So in that case it is a moot point.

Now let's say that you have 2 parts that use 16th notes, and you apply the a 16 swing to one and not the other. What will happen to the relationship between the parts? Is this something that would be desirable in dance music?
