A good developer never puts a timestamp on the release date. When the fruit is ripe it falls from the tree. Putting a release date on a product forces the developers hand not to add any new last minute features or fix any last minute bugs.bobbybland wrote:How close? which quarter can we expect this? @ Brian or anyone at IK.
will you be able to use the Xpansion pack 2 sound libraries with Sampletank 3 when it comes out.
I really hope the answer's yes, if not then there wouldn't really be any point in getting it apart from it being 64-bit. I bought a few in the group buy & I'd really like to be able to use them in Sampletank 3.

SampleTank 3 is going to have an all new library recorded in a state of the art studio we built just for it. It will be worth the upgrade for this library alone. Take a look at what we're doing here: The making of SampleTank 3 sounds. ('Like' IK Multimedia while you're there, to help push the FanatIK promo to 30% off when we reach 9,000 fans... we're ALMOST there!)Peevy2000 wrote:@ Brian or anyone at IK.

I'll have to confirm compatibility with existing SampleTank libraries, and get back to you.

I really hope Sampletank 3 gets away from the simple sample-playback device that ST1 and 2 were and brings it closer to being a full fledged sampler a la Kontakt. The whole idea of a ROMpler is less and less appealing to me in my old age. But if you could make a proper sampler out of Sampletank, and include a good basic library, you'd definitely picque my interest.

Yes, it was in my spam folder. Thanks, I prolly never would have looked there.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:If you're outside of the US, I've heard of it taking a while, however, for some reason all of my Audiomidi purchase confirmation emails go right to my SPAM folder. If you haven't looked there already, give it a go.Arglebargle wrote:I bought a Tracks single from Audiomidi last week, selected an e-delivery, and haven't heard anything from them for 4 days. If one buys all the singles do we get the T-Racks 3 interface aswell?
(granted, it's almost the price of the Deluxe edition anyway)

no, you didn't miss anything because there is no fix for this.flugel45 wrote:Huh? The thread itself started in Sep 2010 and the participants were still going at it two months later...ObiK wrote:That was addressed in July of last year with our last update. Happened in Reaper with me and after that update they are all named correctly.
I didn't see a resolution, only the mention of a workaround that actually doesn't work for everyone.
So it certainly couldn't have been "addressed" in July of the same year...
Did I miss a later announcement?
they told us that it will be fixed at the end of Q1/2011 but i don't belive them anymore.
