How close? which quarter can we expect this? Or is this still a year off?

A good developer never puts a timestamp on the release date. When the fruit is ripe it falls from the tree. Putting a release date on a product forces the developers hand not to add any new last minute features or fix any last minute bugs.

will you be able to use the Xpansion pack 2 sound libraries with Sampletank 3 when it comes out.
I really hope the answer's yes, if not then there wouldn't really be any point in getting it apart from it being 64-bit. I bought a few in the group buy & I'd really like to be able to use them in Sampletank 3.

We aren't projecting a release date for SampleTank 3 at this point.

SampleTank 3 is going to have an all new library recorded in a state of the art studio we built just for it. It will be worth the upgrade for this library alone. Take a look at what we're doing here: The making of SampleTank 3 sounds. I'll have to confirm compatibility with existing SampleTank libraries, and get back to you.

I really hope Sampletank 3 gets away from the simple sample-playback device that ST1 and 2 were and brings it closer to being a full fledged sampler a la Kontakt. The whole idea of a ROMpler is less and less appealing to me in my old age. But if you could make a proper sampler out of Sampletank, and include a good basic library, you'd definitely picque my interest.

I bought a Tracks single from Audiomidi last week, selected an e-delivery, and haven't heard anything from them for 4 days. I assumed e-delivery would be fast.
If you're outside of the US, I've heard of it taking a while, however, for some reason all of my Audiomidi purchase confirmation emails go right to my SPAM folder. If you haven't looked there already, give it a go.

I didn't see a resolution, only the mention of a workaround that actually doesn't work for everyone.

So it certainly couldn't have been "addressed" in July of the same year...

no, you didn't miss anything because there is no fix for this.
they told us that it will be fixed at the end of Q1/2011 but i don't belive them anymore.
