Temp lock while I split the new stuff from the posts over a year old.

[edit] There. The old thread, which died about a year ago, was at http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=275611 . If anyone has a good reason to unlock it, send a PM and I'll consider it.

I can't speak for the recent version since I got somewhat lost in translaiton since Beta2 (ilok1), but I can speak for the top notch customer support from sides of "Slate Digital".

Soundwise I'm pleased with what I hear. Though people's opinions differ greatly on that particular topic. All I can say is: try it for yourself.. if it's working for you, go ahead. If you think Nebula is a better solution, go with Nebula or whatever is out there (UAD or random-developer with EQs/Channelstrips, Line6 PODFarm with the Avalon or Neve Preamps, etc)

My iLok2 is ordered - definitely looking foward to finally use this one in Cubase 6 (beta2 only worked for me up until Cubase 5).

Really? What's wrong with it?

Look over at GearSlutz.

not even 24 hours after it's release & there's many issues.
Actually, the bugs reported are minor and the program team has taken care of most of them overnight.. Most people who purchased have claimed to have no issues at all. Works on all of our machines perfectly. But given the new protection technology, we expected some system specific problems and we're nailing them with ninja speed. :D

Congratulations Slate and co :tu:
Wrong- this version has more bugs than the beta!
That's not my experience, but I won't doubt others' experience. It was a bit naive to think people won't complain. I'm sure they can find a reason or two.

Everything works for me except the console drift, thus a question: Are there special conditions that have to be met before the console drift settings can be modified? I just can't seem to move any of the sliders in any situation.

Oversampling is unusable in realtime, in a real-world project (even @ 2x). It just kills my CPU. Oversampling in the beta was usable.

I'm not complaining though; the plugs work, the bugs I had are fixed, and the official release has more functionality than the beta. I can wait for bugfixes.

Edit: Never mind, I see (from the GS thread) that the console drift is not yet available and the oversampling issue is being looked at/worked on.

No offence slate, but why on earth have you sent out an email to people who already have the beta saying 'Hey come buy this great plugin', and not sent them the download link for the actual finished plug? Smacks of Dumb to me...

It seems far easier to send email to all registered users in user database then to split thousand of beta user to non beta user IMHO.

Beside that if you are already a betatester maybe you have a friend which want plugin at introduction price etc.etc...there are many reason actually..

But Dude...you simply hit "delete" button in your email client if you think mail isn't useful for you. It is what...thre seconds of your time. When you compare this to actual waste on forum it seems ridiculous.

I am really shocked to see on what kind of tiny details people complain these days.

Wow...running plugin company/sale is everything else but not enjoyable experience :?

I would rather have e-mail than not and choose if it was useful to me or not. Only takes a few seconds to have a gander at and decide if it appeals. Also it gives me something to 'look busy' reading through  E-mails are good.

Happy to hear that it has worked out well for all, Honestly i mean that.

@ Steven you actually kind of remind me of a friend of mine 'Guy' who fronts a band called 'The Red Chord' and runs a label called 'Black Market Activities' for some reason: (not as metal as Guy though lol) plus the dude from CSI who plays Nick Stokes :D &
