Not if you consider that Brooklyn is the 4th largest city in the world. Lots of people on that piece of real estate. So it stands to reason that they'd have a large talent pool.

Great place to hang, btw. You'll see/hear/do more interesting things wandering around Brooklyn in an afternoon, than most anywhere else. Inspiring.

Ummm...Brooklyn has a population of about 2-3 million - I think it's much further down the list than 4th. Not only that it's not a city - it's a borough of NYC.

It may not be technically true today. There was some business last year indicating that Houston may have passed Brooklyn for that title.

And yes, you are correct that it is a 'borough' of a much larger city.

If anyone is old enough to have watched Welcome Back Kotter back in the day, every show opened with a shot of the road sign into Brooklyn declaring it the 4th Largest City.

Now that I think about it though, I'm not sure if that is just in the US or the world. Most likely the US.

You're thinking US - I think NY only just scrapes into the top 10 in the world.

Brooklyn on its own making 4th place sounds plausible though.

In fact, it's a fake. All sounds are produced by free vstis. If you look carefully, the gear is not plugged (the harpsichord for instance).
