Thanks! It's really close to being done, and I'm working very hard on it. Would posting more audio demos help fill the time? Or would that make it worse?

More audio demos please! =D
What are your plans after EAG? EMG? (Evolution Metal Guitar). . .
After the K4 Update of course...
I'm sure you mentioned somewhere about what's to come after Evolution Acoustic Guitar... but I'm feelin' a little too lazy to search right now! XD

No, that would be taking precious time that could be better spent with you chained to your computer and finishing this library.Gregjazz wrote:Would posting more audio demos help fill the time? Or would that make it worse?

Greg - more demos would be great to listen to but don't be melting your head completely as you are working so hard on the main release. We all know how good this sounds so the "sell" has certainly been achieved and we are all waiting patiently now with our mouse hovering over the "buy" button
I have used RealGuitar for quite a few years, and think it is a crackin' piece of software, but your released demos have been stupendously good!!

Well, I have the CoreBass Pear K4 update that's in progress right now, and also the jazz/rock flute library. There's also another really awesome library (or series of libraries) planned for this year, but it's too early to announce it. Besides, I want to get all these updates finished first.Godseyse wrote: What are your plans after EAG? EMG? (Evolution Metal Guitar). . .![]()

Here's another audio test of the acoustic guitar: http://www.orangetreesamples.com/audio/ ... ACTest.mp3
This is made by Perry D'Armond, one of the beta testers--he played it live.

Cool! I love NI for their generous upgrade prices. Kontakt 4 is a huge upgrade, too--they add so many new great features:
- Loading times for patches are much faster!
- Lossless NCW sample compression, which is very efficient. It can reduce the sample pool size to essentially the size they would be at when compressed in RAR files.
- Zero latency convolution--I've compared it to offline rendered convolution, and it's practically identical, too.
- A lot of new scripting capabilities, such as custom graphics for 3rd party libraries, which adds a whole new element to the usability of libraries' interfaces.
- Probably more that I'm forgetting...

I feel just a little guilty for having the honor of being a beta tester...but since Greg posted a demo clip of mine, I gotta say, this thing is every bit worth the wait! I sent Greg another clip with congas that I liked a little better...
It's so dang fun to play that it's hard to focus on putting a track together! -Perry-

Perry, thanks for the demos, and Greg thanks for the hard work on this. These sound simply fantastic.Gregjazz wrote:Here's the one with live congas!

My fave demo I heard so far was back in the thread (I think you recorded it, Greg). It was a proggy, pop rocky rhythmic piece with lots of mutes and slaps and just sounded so good and natural. Can't wait for this.

I'm working hard to complete the last stretch of work on the sample library.
