VocaLive includes many sought after vocal effects, such as our intelligent pitch correction. You can set by key, and do soft correction for keeping vocals in tune, or hard correction for autotune style effects.

It's pretty cool. Very buggy on the iPod 4 though.

Message me with your report, or contact iRig Tech Support. Thanks!

I passed along your report, morelia. Thanks!
We haven't seen any other reports about this, but we'll see if we can reproduce it.

Thanks Brian. It is a real problem for me. I've been using Vocalive for 2 days now and have not been able to edit a preset in all this time. I can record and select presets from the ABCD menu (although the D menue is empty). I may be to blame. This is the app I've been most looking forward to so I should have expected something to go wrong :hihi:

I read that this App will be available as an in app purchase with the next amplitube update. I have amplitube and the 8 track upgrade now, so really I should wait for the update if I want to use the vocalive FX on a vocal track .

Will the in app purchase have the exact same capabilities?

It's not completed yet, but it should. If the Fender pack is to be a guide, I imagine it will have all the exclusive transform processors, but will not include the standard effects that are already available in AmpliTube 2. I do not know what the purchase price will be.

Vocalive seems really cool but before I buy it I need to know whether it will able to export waves to the generaL pasteboard and/or maybe even Sonoma Copy and Paste in a near future.

Post

Brian, any news on the bugs I reported?

morelia, I passed it on to our tech support manager. I will inquire later today about it.

IncarnateX, you can export 16-bit/44.1kHz .wav files to iTunes.

Thanks Brian but that does not do it I am afraid :( I need a pastboard transfer option so you can work entirely from the iPad independent of PCs.

Korg has just jumped the pasteboard wagon with iMS-20 and iElectribe and I think you should think about implementing this feature. There is obviously a public demand for it and it will only make the possibilities of your software much richer and exciting. Why not be among the first:

...and not the last?

Cheers :)

I have another bug/problem. It happened once before but I thought it was a one of until today.

I started VocaLive and it was not processing any sound. I tried to play an imported song from the song screen and the progress bar wouldn't move on any songs (same in the recorder app). I tried reimporting them but still no sound. I checked the volume and it is definitely up. I exited the app and tried just playing a song in the iPod part and it worked fine. Went back into VocaLive and still the same. I did the full shut down and restart and it started processing sound again.

VocaLive probably wasn't the source of the problem.
iOS needs a reboot every once in a while, just like any operating system.

Maybe so, but the only app with the problem is VocaLive. Anyway, it happened only a couple of times so hopefully won't again. The other bugs are starting to be a pain though.
