BTW, just to complicate things.... have you looked at iSequence?
I already bought Music Studio, and will likely get NanoStudio next, as well as a few quality standalone synths and effects.

I'm not going on and on about anything--it's just normal discussions about the apps, as we always do at KVR. We always talk about all the endless DAW's, synths, sample libraries, effects, and so on. It's no different with the mobile apps.

iSequence is for iPad only. I'm on the iPod Touch.

As I said on my post above, congrats on your Music Studio purchase!

I too look forward to that May update, as I am a fellow Music Studio owner.

And sorry about the iSequence recommendation, I forgot it was iPad only....

No, but it does offer sampling. I own it, but do not even have it installed. It is another one, that I wait to see what happens next. It is worth remembering, that all of this is very new. The PC has been around for 30 years, this is just beginning. There was actually a program called "Music Studio" that I used on a Comodore 64 in 1985, that was in the beginning of personal computers. These iPhone/iPad apps just blow that away..... Give it some time ;)

We are just now almost one year since the iPads release, I think some great things will start to come this year.

Oh, if you are interest in what I was using in 1985...... http://c64-music.blogspot.com/2009/06/music-studio.html

Yup! I beta tested for NI, Cakewalk, Spectrasonics and a few others during the exciting early days of virtual instruments and DAWs.. This iPad stuff feels like another round of coolness. But less geeky.
