Whoa, sounding very nice! Product page is looking good, too. But, it says the price is "TBA" - how much is that in USD?Gregjazz wrote:Here's the one with live congas!

"TBA" is a Latin initialism for "an arm and a leg".
Just kidding. Actually I'm aiming for the same pricing and intro pricing as Evolution Strawberry, but I didn't want it to appear among the libraries currently on discount, as well as confuse people as to whether the library is available.

Nice, you posted the demo I was referring to -- hypnoacoustic groove! So awesome.swartzfeger wrote:My fave demo I heard so far was back in the thread (I think you recorded it, Greg). It was a proggy, pop rocky rhythmic piece with lots of mutes and slaps and just sounded so good and natural. Can't wait for this.
greg, dumb question -- in the Liquidity demo, is that using your Jaco library for the fretless? That sounds better than the Trilian library I have, and that's saying something.

Reading the product page there is no mention of separate lead and rhythm engines.
I am assuming there will still be a 'rhythm section'[strum palette] like in EEG or am I mistaken?

In this case, it's actually me playing live bass. It's the same bass used to sample CoreBass Cherry, but with the bridge pickup instead of a 50% blend between bridge and neck. Actually it does sound very similar to the Jaco bass, come to think of it.swartzfeger wrote: greg, dumb question -- in the Liquidity demo, is that using your Jaco library for the fretless? Yup--it has the uses the same Evolution engine as EEG Strawberry, so you get lead and rhythm presets as usual. When the Kontakt 4 update (new script, new interface) for the Evolution engine is completed, it will apply to both the electric and acoustic guitar sample libraries.Twigman wrote:Reading the product page there is no mention of separate lead and rhythm engines.

Here's an awesome demonstration by Geert Bevin, showing the beta version of the Evolution acoustic guitar played on an Eigenharp Alpha:

Even better, it means that everything we've learned from using Evolution Electric Guitar will apply to to Evolution Acoustic Guitar.Gregjazz wrote:Yup--it has the uses the same Evolution engine as EEG Strawberry, so you get lead and rhythm presets as usual. Awesome is right! Now I just wish I could afford an Eigenharp...Gregjazz wrote:Here's an awesome demonstration by Geert Bevin, showing the beta version of the Evolution acoustic guitar played on an Eigenharp Alpha:
Y'know, the internet sure does tempt me to spend money on things I otherwise wouldn't even know about. But what else is money for, if not to buy new toys? It's not like it would hurt me to eat less.

Thanks for posting the video Greg and thanks to you all for the kind comments.
DocAtlas, just pointing out that there are different models of the Eigenharp and that the Tau is every bit as capable as the Alpha (it has a different finish, lacks some keys and a microphone input+preamp), but it costs half the price. The key technology is the same and it also has the percussion keys.

Hey Greg, sorry to get off topic, but have you fixed the bug with the palm mute articulation in EEG by any chance?
I can't wait to get EAG! It sounds so amazing! Awesome job Greg!
