If you like CSR you'll love X-Verb (made by Warp too). Unlike CSR reverb X-Verb is a hi-end unit.

have Duende Mini and Duende Native, but not X-Verb.

the quality is discussed on several forums.

the opinions range from crap to marvelous

too expensive for me at the moment. do not know if it is really worth the price :?

I may have to give X-verb a listen now Theo. I have 2 codemeter sticks so that won't be a problem here.

Just when I've sold a bunch of stuff off, I find new things to buy. It's an endless cycle.

Edit:
I just checked the price and it's a little too rich for my blood right now. LX480 Hall would be more within reach at the moment.

you seem to be buying alot lately b-pole i think you have TTOz - itis
seems to be true, but now I am mostly finished
X-verb is in a completely different league, and if it wasn't for the unfortunate codemeter protection i'd recommend it without hesitation.
as I told you I tested the Native bundle with dongle and codemeter already. NO problems.

For X-verb I have to save money...
If I would make it to buy NOTHING else in the next weeks, possible that I would get the money for that.

For the CSR (topic related again, now) it was more an impulse deal.
I thought for about $60 you cannot do anything wrong.
New is EUR 169, and the cheapest offer I found were $100 in the past.
Nevertheless tested it and for simple needs it is sufficient enough.

But you are right, perhaps it would be better to stop 4-5 impulse deals in order to save money for one high end plugin. :?

I want to have a few opinions about the quality of the IK Multimedia CSR Classik Studio Reverb please.

How does it compare to the other reverbs on the market?

Greetings

I would say it's useful but since I got Aether I hardly ever use it nowadays, only for oldschool sounding plate reverbs. Long tails seem thin and metallic compared to Aether or good IRs.

Soon dealers will have it and do good prices, well, better prices.
Do you really think this? I suppose you will only buy it directly from SSL, if they are clever. :?

The two bundles you get at local dealers already both do not have x-verb included.
Seems they know what a good plugin is.

If you like the Lexicon PCM91, then CSR is the reverb for you...

Brian: will CSR be upgraded to x64 with T-Racks?

Currently, we've got AmpliTube 3.5 coming out in about 2 weeks, which will be x64, and T-RackS 3 will be getting a 64-bit update shortly after, and we have SampleTank 3 in the works, which will be x64 and include a brand new library. That is as far as we've gotten with our 64-bit planning, for now.

Post

Sorry to take you a little OT, but Brian, when you update Sampletank3, will users of Miroslav Philharmonik CE get an x64 update too?
