no problem, google did all the work
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I'm gassing over it but I don't want to order yet another guitar that may or may not scratch my itch. Yes, I'm totally paranoid now
What I'll try to do since I have that itch is dig up some frisco addresses (kinda like the prestige I have) and just spend the day going around checking them out. If that doesn't work then I'll have to spend a little time in LA. With the traffic, I shouldn't need more than a week to see maybe 9 or 10 stores

OK,
So I have 8 guitars.
I think I will sell them all,
and acquire the sweetest ones(IMO)
in the world!hehe
I have my eye on 2, but I keep them secret,
just in case they are bought, coz they are both rare.
I up them here when I get them(3 months maybe)
In the meantime I have found some sweet tele necks
to check.
Do you think that Chinese guitar parts are OK?->

http://product.madeinchina.com/TELE-NEC ... 3002.shtml
I want the abalone inlays, but the shot doesn't show them
Here is one that is in production, that I maybe get in 6 months or so->
http://www.godinguitars.com/godinfreewaysap.htm
I trade my Ibanez RG series w/- Roland hex pup for it.
I am going all natural, flame, birdseye, fiddleback and it's so fluky
that this one with the Ghost hex is that colour.
Should be sweet!
Hope you are loving your guitars, as art objects and tonewise!

hmmm,
I will get some more licks out of it,
I am going to start processing each string with the hex,
so it hasn't been shelved.
I'm a real sucker for the smoked chrome hardware,
and it fits my natural finishes bent.
Maybe I get the Godin and sell the GK3 pup only!
It has dialled low, true action now.
I am looking forward to getting the hex2trs splitter
for it. Should improve my shoddy guitar2synth
devices.
Another option would be to swap the pups out for
my Duncans I have in my cobbledy Les Paul copy, and
see how it sounds, not that it doesn't sound peachy
w/- stock ones. hmmm
Cheers!(uncaps a beer)=)

How nice is this?
I need the original tele pup combination, but like the look of this one.
(hmm perhaps it is moddable to single coils actually)

Cheers hibidy among

The neck is the heart of a guitar, get cheap pickups or hardware, do a spraycan finish if you have to, but never cut corners with the wood, ever.
Why not Warmoth or USCG ?
Not unrealistically priced, and these companies have a good reputation to lose.
Those Chinese OEM companies - here today, gone tomorrow ...

I don't have an issue with the looks, pretty, granted.hibidy wrote:Susiwong is here to set the record straight!
I still think that tele is gorgeous!
Somehow I can't see how a price difference of several hundred percent to the nearest competition can all be attributed to creative, honest business models like child labor or the like.
Seriously, good wood is expensive for several reasons.
I don't care about the dashboard in a car, but I do care about tone and durability in a guitar.
