Looks like I found the right place for a stupid NI question,
does anyone know at what version did what instruments become capable of running in a windows 64 bit environment? Yes my question sounds kind of strange, but NI seems to be very elusive about this in that I'm getting different answers from them and they are trying to get me to upgrade to K7. I Know there are instruments that will simply never be recompiled into 64 bit, like B4II or Pro 53 and acoustic piano now resides in Kontakt. Also theres the knowledge base article about putting VST plugs in the programs folder even if you install in the program(86) folder if I have a 64 bit OS DAW. So I would like to clarify this before to move on with any kind of upgrade.

Eventually NI will get rid of almost everything.
Guitar Rig will be integrated into Kontakt / Kontakt Player.
Then FM8, Absynth, Massive will bite the dust and be released as 'Reaktor Player Ensembles'.
So Komplete 10 will be just Kontakt 6 / Reaktor 7 and 50000 sounds

They're copying REFX's model ie make the main money from selling expansion packs/novelty synths.

Explains why Kore is being dropped like a hot potato - it kinda imports 3rd party presets = bad
and who the hell will buy it now when the players are free and most of NI's preset packs make no use Kore's morphing etc.

Club kids into dubstep, not that odd it makes sense since Razor seems to particularly target this genre, from the demo I've heard.

Fresh Prince was ahead of his time lol. There's a few tech house and an rnb demo, pretty versatile synth. Not to mention the vocoder.

Why would it matter if you'd get every sound you want from them?
