Dean,

features were if you break a string it still stayed in tune, no springs and instead used a tortion bar, it also used rollers and it required no routing...note in the add it talks about what I said about palm muting with a rose that supports the fact that the original Floyd Rose systems were designed to pull up. This came out in the mid 80s and didn't really last long, a rhythm guitar player I once had in a band put one on his Aria Pro II at it was okay but nothing to write home about. IMO it's best feature was the installation ease.

yes, you're right, but I'm so 60s I just don't care :D

Funny, we both chose the same pic of the Wonderbar ...
Still remember that ad in the mags.
There are some good hi-res photos floating around so you can appreciate the technical precision, I don't have fond memories about their playing feel at all, and they were f...... boat anchors.

if you run a 90 backwards and flip the pedal upside down it's a 60

I just recently bought my first guitar. Well, my first guitar since the not-so-great electric I had as a kid. I hadn't actually played for about 25 years! Anyway, I bought the guitar I always wanted the most, a Fender Strat, black. And I'm really glad I did, I love it! I'm playing it around 4-6 hours a day and it's too much fun.

It's inspired me to look towards getting a bass next and learning that too. :) Only real downside is it has added a whole new category of gear lust for me.
