1) support for Pitch bend and Modulation wheels
2) a single on/off switch for the Delay FX section

Does the full version come with more presets than what is available in the Demo?
I'd add that the chorus on the JP8000 was a pretty important part of the sound of some patches.

I wish it had an arp.

Is there no portamento? Please forgive me if I am missing the obvious- a global section or something?

Re the GUI- The "side" and "back" panels are a waste of precious space. Is there a good reason for their inclusion? There is something funky about the type for the word layer "select".

I'm being really picky. To me this synth sounds more like the JP8000 than any other emu I've heard.

I don't know... on the fence. It sounds so good but feels unfinished...

I know I'm an ass for saying anything but thank you Adam. I've wished for a JP8000 emu and you have done a great job.

The other forum members made some good suggestions for future updates, but this synth sounds great!

More presets would be cool. Fortunately it's quite easy to program though.

+1

Sounds really near to the JP, and much closer combined with the Layout as the Superwave/Taurus emulations - and the price is there also much much lower, so great sound, great gui, great price.

Chorus would be a nice addition, backside panel have surely enough space for a little effect rack :D

Well, this is my first synth evar, and I tried my best, so I hope everyone can be gentle with me :)

Yes, the JP had a nice chorus, but the only one I could have used was kinda poopy, and I will not include anything in the synth that I am not happy with.

Post

Adam, any plans for Mac version?

Post

Looks fantastic. I was wondering how many presets are included, thanks.

you nailed detune perfectly, a lot of synths which pretended to make supersaw sound tried but failed at this cause detune was just simple and linear ,quite ugly ,for example "sylenth1",but maybe it was fixed later.

Adam, if I came off harsh, I apologize. This synth sounds amazing, and that's what counts. I rarely post feature requests, it's that I'm excited because you have finally captured the beauty of that sound.
So then I want your synth to be just like I want it, don't know what that's about, sorry.
Anyway, going to purchase.

I have an JP-8000 and while I never use it for trance I had a listen to your soundcloud demo. All I can say is that you pretty much nailed the supersaw section of the JP-8000. Congratulations on that!

If you ever get a AU version out and you also nail the x-mod I'm sure to purchase it just to add some additional layers on top of my real JP-8000!

Great work!

You know thats a good idea, since the JP works as a controller, you could even hook them together and play uberphat JP sounds using the 6k as backing.

But no pitch or mod wheel makes that pretty tough.
noise and beats: Negutyv Xeiro do people actually click these?
gearlust: Roland JP-8000, too much/not enough eurorack
machinecode by: u-he, Bitwig, Fabfilter, NI, et al

No pitch, mod wheel, or portamento. It's holding me up from buying this. It sounds beautiful, but I know those limitations in the end will keep me from loading it.
I wonder if new features will be implemented in the future?
It's very stable on my computer, low CPU...

Buy this or the Superwave Ultimate? This seems like it has limited controls to the near exactly JP8080 replica of the superwave companies Ultimate.

Anyone know?

This sounds very nice, very nice indeed. As noted above though, the synth doesn't report perimeters to the host, so it's impossible to automate anything, ie filter cut, or setting up midi control on anything via the mod wheel. Once that is sorted this will be a supersaw beast.

This is a demo limitation :) Read the page near the dowload link.

Ay caramba !

Ha... silly me ;) Didn't even read the demo limitations. In that case, I'd just "automate" my cutoff control via modwheel. Thus no biggy.
