Thanks! :)

I'm still kinda freaking out over it, it was a really big deal for me.

I already had Guitar Rig as part of Komplete, so that's been pretty fun as a starting point.

Looks even better w/o the pickguard plastic

So, let me kinda tell you about the trip.

I've never played a charvel in my life. No music store, in any city, in any state has ever had them. The name of this place was "napa music center" and tbh considering it's a really small place I was surprise by the selection they had! They had quite a few USA models, some really top-shelf models ( the phil collen model.....out of my range for sure!) and a couple of used custom shops (again, out of my range, but SOOOOO nice to have the selection) and this on top of the lovely san dimas/socal/japan models (which they had several)

Here's something you don't find.....how bout every single guitar CLEAN and (OMG) In tune! :o  They were attentive, but not pushy. They allowed me to go through all the ones I wanted to play, without being bothered by it.

The one I was most interested in (the one I bought) had a bit of a bow in the neck. No problem, he took it to his desk and fixed it EVEN THOUGH this model requires removing the pup to get at and straighten the neck. :o

AND they gave me a better price than many places would have (about 850 out the door and CA tax is really high!)

It's WAY too soon to know for sure how great the guitar will be down the road, but I just thought it was pretty cool to deal with this kind of place :D

That sounds cool h.
My local, Billy Hydes, always gives me some sort of deal.
Nice fellas.

blue flame hey, even sounds cool
I think I would sand off the sunburst and stain,
then stain it blue again with ink, might look nicer IMO(perhaps stain, or natural you guys reckon?).
Perhaps sand it back so the flame comes through the ink a touch.
I think it would be hard to wreck it coz it's a one peice of fiddleback.
Enjoy hibidy! Post some audio here if you like.

I am going to get one of these for my studio wall.
Gorgeous
But too ostentatious to fit up IMO

Yeah, it's quite a cool guitar. Sadly I sold it, sounded quite nice too: http://sodap.looze.net/mp3/htc/Soda_P-Message.mp3 (multiple guitar parts that include the ET-210)

Best,

Especially that baritone looks nice ...

Not only does it look nice it also sounds very good. Blonde Redhead used it quite a lot, especially on their "In an Expression of the Inexpressible" album.

Big deal.
Where else could a self-respecting cat sit than on the one spot with an extra cushion ?
Max follows the voice of his ass, so to say. :D
Is he a member of Cats Anonymous, btw ?
We need a full frontal pic !

Oh, there's also a guitar ...
The black of the body could be a bit darker, but other than that ...
Congrats !
How are the PUs ?

Cheers,
susiwong

Lol, I was more thinking along these lines :

Different generations, I guess ...
While we're at it, are you serious about that remix ? :-o
It has an insane degree of compression that completely destroys the one thing I like about the 1st (already overcompressed) version - the constant increase in intensity.
But then, I'm not exactly part of the target group.
Cheers,
susiwong

Re that blue body, you might have to sand off quite a bit, maybe ask a lokal carpenter to do the bulk of the stripping with his machines ?
 one of those days where everything I write comes out dubious

OT, for hibidy and the other cat people :

Old, but still ROTFLMAO ...

I like it, eventually I'm going to get a tele body for the neck that I replaced for my baritone but that's down the road. :tu:
