It is lush and old school ;)
Yes its a nice chorus, what what am I supposed to do with it? I cant just plug it in my synth :(
I think megadeth was letting the rest of us know about it, I don't believe there was any request on his part. The chorus on the JP8000 is at the end of the signal path. It's easy to load a chorus plugin after the synth. I think that megadeath was just pointing out a nice free one to help us all out.

I'm sorry this is kind of an overwhelming and weird response to your very beautiful synth. You've accomplished something many others have attempted. No one that I'm aware of has gotten so close to THAT sound. So I admit, as a Roland fan, I'm excited.

If mono portamento is much easier to implement than poly, what about a poly/mono switch?

I want to buy this, I will if I believe there will be future development.

As it stands right now, just as it is, it's a beautiful thing. Really.

This sounds really nice!

I can't stop playing this synth. I'm obsessed with the sound. It doesn't fit with the acoustic stuff I'm recording now at all. I bought it.
Thanks Adam.

Right ;)

It is so easy to put an effect after the synth (reverb, chorus...) and concentrate on sound itself.

And again, this is a very nice synth, with punch and definition

The demo tune itself sounds great, but for anyone who knows trance like myself, these are blatant rip-offs of well known songs. I would suggest still using those sounds, but changing them up so the artists don't try to come back against you.

DevonB, I don't understand how you can get in trouble for using patches from a synthesizer? for example if you use preset number 6 on a korg triton and someone else does also, does the person who releases it first get the copyright? I doubt it...

I understand your concern and maybe i just don't understand. Care to educate me? :)

I can understand if you copy note for note the melody or whatever from another song and a similar sound...

I am glad to see this. Thank you for all your hard work. :D

The purpose of the patches was to demonstrate how close you could get to the real thing, and not blatant rip-offs. Also I dont think you can copyright a patch. I mean its just a sound. So a song that has a guitar is a blatant rip-off of another song that has a guitar? Its the same sounding guitar...

no Adam, he's not suggesting copyright over the sounds

I'm not talking about the patch itself, I'm talking about the note choices; those sounds AND the chord progressions are from well known songs in the trance scene. Use the same patches, but for goodness sake, don't rip off someone else's music to make your point, that's all. Someone else's lawyer might get cranky. The names of the songs are on the tip of my tongue...

But you can copyright the song. If that 'gutiar' is playing a song from Metallica, Blink 182, or any such band, the songs have their own copyright. Your audio example is playing well known songs.
