Don't worry, I'll pay your bail

in exchange for more presets.

I doubt they'd put you in jail. However, they could ask for you to cease and desist, as well as pay lawyer fees and damages, or press for profits lost. If, even in the end, 'they' find you are in the right, you still had to pay for a lawyer, which ain't cheap. Still, it's not my butt on the line, it is yours. ;) Just don't be surprised is all I'm saying.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion of course, but I'd be absolutely amazed if Adam had any come back over this. Still, we'll see - If, within a year he finds himself embroiled in some legal shenanigans , then - well, I'll eat my hat :)

Played around with the demo a little this afternoon. The (few) patches it came with sounded pretty good. Any way to assign anything to velocity, mod wheel, pitch wheel or aftertouch? Maybe I didn't look hard enough..

Little demo of 32 additional free presets for the JP6K, should be in the full version soon

Still amazing, how flexible this little synth can be, specially through the basement of "only 2 super-saw" oscs, i think many wouldn't guess that the sounds in the demo are based on this 2 super-saw oscs, so completly without other essentials like square, sines, filterdrive etc :D

No it is not so why don't you just shut it! You started this copyright focus on page 1 in a very intimidating and patronizing tone. We are on page 24 now and you still go on with different variations as you were desperate to keep focus away from the praised quality of the synth.

You know, there are some people who can not distinguish their own failure from other people's success or themselves from others in general. Its a trait of narcissism and can easily grow into a pathological state of mind.

Your perseverance on this has long passed that of rational proportions, so maybe its time to look a little inwards and evaluate your engagement in this thread?

Because I don't have to. This is an open forum. Besides, a little research on Junox2 from ReFX and what Roland did should be enough.

Well done Adam - superb sound. What fascinates me is thats its SM, how many here said they wouldnt have SM synths because they all sound alike? - boy does this change the game :-)

dont compare refx with this case are you insane and can we have example of court case over using someones melody in sound demo of sound from vsti plugin?

I don't think DevonB is really talking about the presets/sound. If I found the right article on the ReFX Juno/Roland issue... it was the name and similarity or the layout.

This JP6k well, crap... looks like they took a picture of the JP8080, same color scheme, font, buttons and similar knobs. So Roland could maybe have some leverage. Who knows.

Anyways, I am glad this doesn't require C/R or online varification. Gonna lock this bad boy up like its a gold brick. :)

I hope nothing bad happens as i love this thing! :)

And yet the thread about a new z3ta skin that had the access logo on it was locked without mod comment, never to be seen again.
Wonder where those complaining about 'copyright and intellectual property' then, are now?

Guess you should feel lucky, Adam.
I guess 'not what you know, but who you know' counts for a lot on kvr, right bluedad? ;)
