Check, runs correct here as well. Still syncing, but close to completion.
By the way: only 1 preset for FM8?
PS Deleted the duplicate presets as you said, works a charm. No uploads here, don't have a designer key!
Regard & thanks,
Jan

I tested FXB/FXP import because i got a lot of V-Station FXP i don't use (because i needed to open them one by one with Ableton...).
I done a research of "*.fxp" with Win explorer in my V-Station banks folder, drag'n dropped the result in Zen...and i now all those crappy fxp single presets are organized like other shared V-Station presets
I love you Big Tick

A lot of ppl are searching solutions for FXPs.
I tried Minihost import FXP to FXB, but when i tried a wrong FXP, i got a blue screen of death
With Zen, you don't need any conversion/save : just drag'n drop all your synth FXPs in one shot.
Amazing...
Thank you !!!

Hey BT,
In vaz2plus I have the 65 presets in zen, but how do I add more presets as each preset for vaz has a .vzp extension and drag and drop does not seem to work?

You need to import them using the "I" icon. If I remember correctly, VAZ doesn't notify the host correctly (using updateDisplay when presets are switched). This means that autoimport won't work, and that you will need to hit the "I" icon for every preset you select in VAZ.sunhome wrote:Hey BT,

I've just re-installed Zen after not using it for a while and I notice there's a complete bank of my Synth1 patches in the database.
Now, I can't remember uploading them (admittedly my memory for such things isn't brilliant), and they're not tagged with my author name, "Mr Wobble". If I had uploaded them, should they be tagged with my author name?
I was wanting to upload a newer version of that bank, can I over write the patches in the database without changing he patch names?
And, if it wasn't me it who uploaded them, I'd like to know who did.

Just give me a preset name and I'll look up the uploader for you. It might actually be me
Just feel free to add your author tag name to them.
At the moment you can't overwrite the presets - they are going to be imported as duplicates. Zen has the capability to update the presets data, but no front-end feature for doing it .

Why isn't it tagged with my author name?
(btw could you delete the rest of that email add - it's pretty easy to guess the blanked out bit, and I'd rather not publish my email address online. Thanks)

Maybe you didn't tag it ? Or maybe the tag has been created after you uploaded it. I don't know. In any case, you can still tag it with your name now.

Okay, my misunderstanding, I presumed that uploading automatically tags a patch with the uploader's name - but I guess it's not done this way to allow for uploading of other people's patches?Big Tick wrote:Maybe you didn't tag it ?
