Great idea for a new forum! I mainly lurk on KVR, might be a bit more active now

So, post some pictures of your recent builds, be they amps, synths, rack effects or whatever you have built - I mainly do stompboxes and have done a couple of amps as well as the standard guitar mods

BigBaby - this is a coloursound inductorless wah in a crybaby chassis - bit rough but works fine

Axishead, crappy name but nice fuzz, based on the DAM Meathead which is a modified FF

VTK -vintage two knob fuzz - another silicon fuzz face

OK Fuzz - one knob si FF variant.

Sinnerboy - ROG's Mayqueen modified for a more Rory Gallagher style tone than Brian May - think treble booster going into an AC30

yes I like fuzz. I'd also recommend them for beginners as they are very simple and very tweakable - a great way to get into DIY pedal building

That Coloursound pedal brought back some memories - years ago I had about half a dozen of the things with various modifications. At one you could buy the volume pedal (i.e. with a pot inside but no electronics) for £6

That was a long time ago though

nothing new to most, first the dulicimer I built (12/11 hammered dulcimer)

my tele baritone (with a Warmoth neck) and streo output (each with it's own active system)

and my warmoth strat that I just put the stratoblaster clone in. A hardtail with an EMG 81 in the bridge that is from the early 80s and a 15 year old EMG 89 . I change this guitar around so much, it's like my gunnea pig guitar. (this was just taken now as was the dulcimer)

My Shruthi-1 from Mutable instruments. It's clear I need a case for it. I use it a lot but it's a dust magnet anyway

Nah. Well, I wouldn't mind to consume the content in a cigar box but I think this baby deserves a more fancy housing. I will talk to a friend who owns a workshop

Looks fun, not seen these before. Would like to build myself a synth and just checked out their site, this looks interesting.

How easy was it to build?

Does it sound any good?

Is it useful and productive to use as an instrument?
