Angelina beeps

Hello,

I downloaded Angelina from this site and I'm finding it beeps every 45 seconds or so. Is this a design feature? If so I will happily buy it as I really like the strange sounds I can get out of it, but I can't find any way of buying it or registering it or anything like that. Otherwise, any idea what's happening? Thanks.

Also thanks for Rhino, I will definitely buy the full version when I can afford it. It's great to have a complex synth that is relatively easy to use (I have used Absynth before which was fantastic, but I could spend hours trying to make a patch...)

Angelina is free, as of February of this year. Check to see that you have a zip file containing the free version, with the .dll dated 2/19/2010.

If you do have the latest free version, I have no idea why it would beep. It doesn't require any special registration or key.

You know, when I read your reply I thought 'No, I wouldn't be so stupid as to overlook something as obvious as that'. But it turns out I was! Didn't ever occur to me that my Voxengo Warmifier might be a demo version. What an idiot.

Somewhat 'O.T' but, I bought Angelina years ago, and remember seeing and trying a link to a "bonus effects-only" version, that never went anywhere.

Did that Angelina 'effect' ever get made?

No biggie, but it seemed like a cool idea.

That's great . This way the freebie even has something good in it for us long time Angelina users . I love Angelina since I bought it, and had to re-type my serial a few hundreds of times, he he. solution was to save a preset with my serial as name, and well, copy and pasting it. I got used to it, anyways. Nice it's free now, but there should have been more people who bought it.

No. I have plans for something ultimate, but it's not a formant synth

Darn I was looking forward to something of Angelina's ilk, but more refined.

There was really only three formant synths on the market, and all of em are quite old now.

Angelina, COFX Vocal and MHC's Voxynth.

Sure, but it's not in the same boat as Angelina. We are talking choir synth here, aren't we?

There's plenty of choir stuff that has accumulated over the years in the form of samples, but all that stuff is still samples. It's only editable as much as it allows.
It doesn't compare to pure synthesis.
