Greetings,

I am tying out the demo of Effectrix and liking it.

There are a couple of problems which I am interested to know the answers to before making a purchase.

All this relates to the Filter section. Using Cubase 6.

1. There seems to be no way to stop the filter from making a "pulse" or jumping to fully open at the start of each section.

For example - Using a low Pass Filter and set mode to Envlope. As you can see in the following screen show - every time the loop starts the cutoff opens fully (although the actual knob does not move). It is clearly audible.

2. There seems no way, other than using MIDI notes, to lock the envelope to tempo. This is quite an important omission. And even when doing so with MIDI the cutoff still seems to jump at the start as in the above example.

It would be great to hear your thoughts on this.

Thanks.

Hi,

if you turn the "ENV Peak" control down, the filter should not open
when the effect starts. The filter contains an envelope which is started with each trigger. The "ENV Peak" control decides how much the envelope will work on the cutoff.

Hi again and thanks for your answer - brilliant.

Regarding: There seems no way, other than using MIDI notes, to lock the envelope to tempo.

Would there be any plans to add tempo sync to the filter section?

Thanks again.
