So it imports single cycle waveforms? I tried that and also normal waves, but the sound didn't give any clue what had happened exactly..
But the knobs issue is quite bad, can't see myself working much with it like that, you know of a fix? (Reaper, XP SP3 dual core, 32 bit graphics)

@V'ger: No wonder you didn't get it working. There is a plugin supplied with Jagular that is called Jagular Utils that holds the wave editor / drawer that can export to the native file format for Jagular. Regarding the knobs: Try to click on the rim to alter the value. I really didn't have that amount of time at the end of the contest to fix this bug, but I'll run a few tests to see if I can get this to work in SynthEdit 1.1. If not then I have to install SynthEdit 1.0.

Ah ok, I will try that today and see. And now I see the knobs will only work on the rim like you say and occasionally in the middle square, but for such a small GUI this a wrist breaker so good if that can be sorted. Will definitely include this synth in a OSC vote if everyone is on board with the wave loading aspect of it.

After the discussion in the OSC 26: ZynAddSubFX submissions thread about the poor sound quality in the SoundCloud player that we use on the site due to SC transcoding mp3 to mp3, can we get a consensus whether to keep it or change?
Remember that clicking the download button in the player will give you the untouched original file, it's only for the site player itself.
How is the feeling about using raw wave files? If we do, then obviously there will be no transcoding by SC, only encoding which should produce better results.
File sizes will obviously affect downloads, but SC has really good download speed it has to be said, though it might be that some have a slow connection to begin with?
The only other negative I can think of is lack of naming in people's mp3 players, but they could always encode it to mp3 and name themselves if waves are a hassle?
Opinions please.

Also plan to have dedicated synth voting threads last week of the month from now on. As last time I will select 5 or so synths to choose from, but suggestions welcome.
So many to choose from obviously, but just discovered these gems by Contralogic
http://www.contralogic.com/. Feldspar I believe was payware before, and some of them are relatively old but really sweet still. Seems stable and well made. Check it out.

I personally wouldn't like to download ~70MB per track only to need later on to recode it manually myself. But that's of course just my 2 cents.V'ger wrote:How is the feeling about using raw wave files? +1 Soundcloud
Soundcloud seems to be great. It may be an issue on their side... I had a problem importing MP3's into Cubase 6... somekind of bug. So it does happen.

We could have all our entries pressed to 7" vinyl and mail them to each other...

We can only have 2 stickies. Nice effort with the new beta, any updates on Jagular tho?
