Hi, Thomas.

Check your email. :-) I was about to leave, so I'll only be able to reply you back in a few hours, let me know if it's any better.

Cheers.

umd:

Thanks a bunch! My problem is solved!

All the good things I read about you are true! You are fast to respond to users' problems, and good at resolving issues users may encounter when using jBridge!

This is a really good little utility!! I'm glad I got it. It's worth every cent!

Cool! Glad to know that solved it. Let me know if you have any more issues.

Hi Joao,

My testing of JBridge is going well - everything seems to be solid. The last issue seems to be around Jamstix3. I occasionally get the "AUXHOST.EXE stopped working" error when shutting down the project on exiting Cubase 6 64bit. I turned on the "Dirty Close" option and this seems to eliminate the problem.

I am not sure that I want to use this option with jamstix. When Jamstix closes - it writes a log file and when I use the Dirty Close option this file does not get completely written. I am afraid that any options or the Jamstix song will not get save correctly.

So my question - what causes the "AUXHOSTE.EXE has stopped working" error? Could it be caused by the longer time Jamstix is taking to save its settings and writing the data to the log file?

Hello.

I will download its demo to try to reproduce the problem.

I am currently preparing to release a new version during this week, so give me a couple of days to take care of this. ;)

Grent wrote: When using Liquid Mix in Sonar 64bit @ Windows 7 64bit via jBridge, the plugin thinks it is in 44.1kHz-mode upon reloading, even though everything's running at 48kHz, and therefore does not work properly. (inserting from scratch works fine, the bug only occurs at reloading a project)

btw, same happens with Cakewalk's own "bitbridge". 32bit works fine.

Is there anything I can do (except for abandoning 48kHz or Liquid Mix or 64bit)?
Thanks !! :)

Hi !

Did you ever get the time to look into the Liquid Mix issue ?
Maybe just to find out, if it's a bridge related issue or a Focusrite bug in the first place (they say, it's not though).

(Just to rephrase: Upon reloading a "Sonar 64bit 48kHz project", the inserted Liquid Mix plugins are suddenly requesting the corresponding 44kHz emulation-files - you won't notice that, when you have both the 48kHz and the 44kHz files installed, but you certainly do, if you only have the 48kHz emulation files on your hdd. So somehow upon reloading, the bridged Liquid Mix plugins forget their original kHz state.)

Thanks very much!
Grent :)

Hi, Grent.

I wasn't able to find out why that happens, sorry.

Could you email me regarding this? I'd like to send you a test tool for you to run on the plugin to try to see what's happening.

thanks

I'm having problems with NI Reaktor's the finger in Win7 32 bit and Cubase 6 32 bit.
(Asio spikes).

I know that normally you use jbridge for bridging 32 bit plugs in 64 bit host.
But can I bridge one single 32 bit plug in a 32 bit host with jbridge? Is it possible that this can solve my problem with the finger plugin from NI?

I must be the fool here, what's the difference between this and jBridge
A minor scale is a major scale starting 3 half steps down from the major and visa versa. Any Chord has as many versions as it has notes.

Euh, there is no difference. Sorry for not making myself clear. English is not my native language.

Can i use jbridge for a 32 bit plug in a 32 bit host under win7 32 bit?

I do not have any experience with jbridge and i do not want to mess up my daw.

Hi, you can try to bridge it and enable the "performance mode" option, but I doubt that it's as efficient as running the plugin natively.

With the latest jbridge 1.3 which I just got around to installing I get lots of crashes with jamstix. Jamstix has always been prone to flakiness even under jbridge but with 1.3 it seems much worse

Keith99 - what DAW are you running, OS, and Jamstix Version? Under Cubase x64 6.0.1, Win 7 X64, Jamstix 3.1.3 Beta 2 - I had to enable in Jamstix:

- AudioMasterGetTime Hack
- I am getting an OPCODE 19 error
- Use Legacy integrated mode

Everything else was left unchecked.

Inside of Jamstix I disabled "Cache GUI" in the options.

Jamstix works almost all of the time with the occasional "can't Load Jamstix error" on project load and "AUXHOST ERROR" on project close. When Jamstix loads correctly I do not have any crashes during the running of the project.
