Question for the IK folks:
If I jump on this deal: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 22#4459422
Will the IK Miroslav CE be updated to support x64? Free of charge if I buy this month? When would I expect this update?

AmpliTube 3 64-bit is secheduled for release sometime during the 2nd week of this month. T-RackS 64-bit will follow shortly after, still early in this quarter.

Honestly, and I say this as a user of multiple Sampletank-based products, I don't see the point in updating current Sampletank instruments to 64-bit. If Sampletank 3 is being worked on, I would just start with that. Why spend extra development time on several year old instruments when their successor is coming out soon?
Sure, it will cost more money, which is never ideal. But if it's a lot of work, and considering the lifespan of the current product line, I don't think it's unfair to think that the current instruments will never go 64-bit?
Just my thoughts and opinion, though obviously IK may actually be working on porting existing instruments. Who knows.

SampleTank 3 will load existing SampleTank libraries.koolkeys wrote:Honestly, and I say this as a user of multiple Sampletank-based products, I don't see the point in updating current Sampletank instruments to 64-bit. So it is just a matter of getting the SampleTank 3 plugin.
We have SampleTank 2 FREE right now, so it is a possibility we may do something similar for SampleTank 3...
There will be no need to upgrade each of the individual plugin titles.

That's what I was thinking.
64 bit has nothing to do with the sounds. It's the engine that will be 64 bit.
