next time I go to New Hampshire, I actually just got back an hour or so ago from shopping and getting gas. It's not really far from here but with gas prices where they are at I try to combine trips. Probably Friday after I pick my daughter up will be the next logical time slot.

I saved 12 cents a gallon today by waiting to go to NH, the gas station is directly across the street from the grocery store my wife prefers. So I drop her off, get gas and then go back and nag her non stop that she's taking too long

I'm personally no fan of Ibanez semi-hollows but the Epi dot we have in stock is far below in quality. Check these out:

I've had more then a few gibson hollow bodies incl 135, 175 and a 335, they were fair. not great just fair. There is only one gibson I will ever think about adding to my collection and that is a Howard Roberts Fusion III. It would come after several other guitars. My favorite box of all time is a Ibanez George Benson followed by a Godin Kingpin (model 1 not 2)

When I was a teenager, I had a Japanese-made Epiphone Sheraton that was fantastic. It and the BB King 355 are the two best semi-hollows I've played.

My best ever semi-hollow archtop is a Raven West

Mine is a more standard tobacco sunburst not the one pictured.

Many moons ago I had a blonde Sheraton and it was stunning

but I stupidly part ex'd it for I forget what in my local music store. I called in a few weeks later and spotted a blonde Sheraton hung up on the wall with a new price tag, but I thought it looked familiar so had a quick look under the scratchplate where I'd put my ID, and lo and behold it was my guitar. The cheeky cnuts were selling a used guitar as new

Spare a thought for us in New Zealand that pay US dollar approx $6.45 for a gallon of Regular.
I was ok about the gas prices you have there, I'm just a few days back from a San Antonio to Key West return and places in between look see.

It has selectable stereo/mono/stereo(reverse) output with parallel/single coil/series switching on each of the pickups. The volume pot is actually a blend pot for balancing the output signals in stereo mode or dialing in the desired blend in mono mode.

that is beautiful, love the stereo...definately the way to go for recording

My 100% wenge J-Bass is an RnB machine. Its tone is thick, smooth, and naturally compressed in such a way that popping and slapping never sounds abrasive on it.

I love how the neck is glued all the way down to the bridge. That's a concept I've been wanting to try.

That's not so luxury of a price compared to what else is out there and I'd buy it in an instant if the USD were where it used to be. At the current conversion of $1,389USD, it's impressive.

Hink the ESP/LTD semi hollows are hard rock/metal machines with a hole in them really. Nice necks and probably feel like what you are already used to already, Stock pickups are own brand but fairly decent. All the Ibanez artcore stuff i have tried have had naff electronics IMO and (Pending if you like the look or not course) they look good at a distance, BUT up close urgh cheap but with no 'charm' to save 'em. Course that is only my point of view and i have not tried the one in the picture you posted man.

Looks like a guitar Warick would make if they did not do Framus. Admittedly the price seems very good i agree but no floyd although i know they are not everyone's first choice

Im flat broke for awhile so window drooling only

yeah, I'm going to hold off on the semi hollow body...the ibby did not do it for me at all and in fact I only played it for about two minutes (if that). It felt okay in my hands but the sound was just not there...sorry I forgot to post this earlier (I forgot)

Like that ?

1983 MIJ Sheraton, stock except for (old) Classic 57/+ PUs and knobs.
It's wonderfully warm for bluesy tones, but at the same time a bit tighter in the bass than a 335, due to the maple sandwich neck.
Best action I've ever seen on any guitar yet, though I set it up a bit higher nowadays, on purpose
Hardware was gold originally, fortunately it has worn off nicely, now we're talking.
And you're correct, this is a serious guitar.
