Not for $99 64 bit. I would like to see all the IK product 64 bit. To tell you the truth I'm using W7 64 bit with Sonar X1 PE 64 bit, all the SampleTank apps in 32 bit work just fine. I really don't know how much better it would sound in 64 bit if any. I already use the Kontakt player in 64 bit with all the Drum Masters and Ocean Way Drums and I really can't hear any difference other than I have an extra 4 GB of ram.

So for $99 verses $279 most likely for ST3 64, I don't think I could justify almost an extra $200 for 64 bit. How about you?

I think for $99 any of these will help one make a lot of music. That's the important thing. I am sure ST3 will be 64 bit when that comes out but like Bob said it will cost more. But 64bit isn't something the listener is going to hear.

I think the real value in the virtual instruments of this promo are the sounds and easy/fast engine with some really musical built-in effects and features. "Workhorse workstations" you could call them. They do their "thing" and are great "go to" pieces in the virtual studio. I use them all the time on almost everything I work on - even if I also use other tools as well. It's just a great thing to have as a staple piece. I know a LOT of KVRers already have them which is why I am working on making some fun additional things to get everyone involved. We've got almost 2 months for this promo so there's time to get creative and time for people to get on board at least in the thread. In reality we're already almost half way to the first freebie in less than a week. So it's actually doing well and whoever DOES get any of these from www.esoundz.com is going to be shocked at what else they're going to be able to get for free. 6 for 1... cool. 7... cooler. 8 for 1? Well there were 8,000 people that dug that. But how about 11 for 1?????? How crazy would that be? Well, if there's a "prize" for every 100 all the way up to the first 1,000 people then that's exactly what it will be! All that just for simply buying any of the virtual instruments from esoundz. Doesn't get any better sound-wise. So it's something to seriously consider. TONS of great sounds for a great price or a spec at a higher price? What's more important?

Post

I know you are still working on them, but I think once you reveal details about some of the potential extras this GB will take off even more.
The only one I don't have already is Samplemoog and I've never been super-interested in getting it. However, getting it along with some new unreleased esoundz stuff may be the clincher for me.
Especially excited to hear some details about those unreleased Miro sounds.

Another great GB. If you're even thinking of getting any of these, get them here.

I own all 5, plus some Kontakt versions. The Sampletank Acoustic Piano 3 is still my go to piano, even though I've got several very expensive standalone piano vstis.

If you're a first timer here, buy with confidence. Squids and Co. make it very easy and fun. Once it takes off, you'll see him actually start to give away the store in bonuses.

I'd actually hang out here a lot more, but I pretty much own everything they sell. Not one regret. Waiting for ST3... :hihi:

Nice to see some familiar peeps! Thanks for chiming in. Yeah as we go here we'll be revealing more details. I'm going through the Miroslav extras now. A lot of it is in another language so I have to translate (or might even just leave some things labeled that way). Some articulations not in the main version and even some riffs. A nice extra to have on top of Miroslav Philharmonik (maybe not as useful on its own but full of cool samples to use for who knows? Hip Hop? Electronica? Film Scoring? Pop?).

I'll share more info about it soon.

We're at 52 now.

So, here's the deal. If you DON'T already own SampleTank 2.5XL, Sonik Synth 2, Miroslav Philharmonik, SampleMoog or SampleTron then not only can you get it for $99 but if you buy it from www.esoundz.com then for that same $99 you'll be able to pick out an extra library at the very least. Not YET because it has to reach 100 in eSoundz' group buy but it will for sure. At this rate it will within a week or so. But that's just the beginning. Two products for $99. Could be 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 and you don't have to do anything. It's just given to you in your member's area. Granted if you spread the word and participate in this thread it will only help increase the chances of more people joining and everyone getting more extras. But that's up to the people in the group to do that or not! Something is going to happen anyway. But traditionally keeping the thread alive in the marketplace has always helped.

I know that for our long time KVR esoundz members this is some legacy stuff. It's been around for awhile and many of you have it. But there are epointz to pick up and NEW SampleTank sounds involved over the next two months too. Maybe even some free SampleTank sounds for everyone as well. We'll try to make this interesting for everyone.

Plus you get jam points on your IK multimedia account to put towards stuff in the IK shop. I might get the Stealthplug 8)

We're at 55 now. Everyday we're getting closer. I'd say some time next week we'll be giving away the first freebie which I can confirm WILL be a multiple choice amongst around 35 different libraries in SampleTank format. More info about which ones coming next week.

We're at 58 now. Oh and hi! How's it going? Really? Wow man that's awesome! ;)

I got in on last years group buy and ended up with 14+ GB of sounds for SampleTank (Free) and I also have Sonik Synth2. Are the content material in these VI's the same as last years group buy? I'm interested in getting Miroslav and have $42 of Jam points with IK, can these be redeemed through Esoundz?

I don't believe the jam points can be used on a promo at all. So those can be saved for another regular purchase. But Miroslav Philharmonik for $99 from esoundz plus the extras is a killer deal. If you want some great orchestral sounds (and they were not included in the previous group buy) then this is about as good as it gets price-wise.

60! 40 more to go for the first free library added to an already amazing deal.

Finally bought Miroslav Philharmonik. Been thinking of getting it for years, but always thought it's not worth it, since I already have enough orchestral sounds.

Have to say I'm very positively surprised. Probably needs more work than others I use regularly atm (GPO and KH Pop/Rock strings and some Kontakt VSL stuff) when it comes to automation, but the sound is really exciting and unique. Haven't heard anything like this before.

This really should be marketed with it's "different" sound and not with dated ST features and being complete symphonic orchestra.

Post

Miroslav is fantastic. I only got the Classik edition from the audio-midi no-brainer BUT I've been using it regularly at a friend's and it has this awesome, warm, lyrical tone that I haven't heard anywhere else. Sure, it's not really high-end stuff but if you need something for pop orchestrations (or anything else, really - it can shine in the hands of a skilled arranger) then it's unbeatable.
