Some jo... I mean IK seems to be saying next week. I'm not holding my breath (no offense to IK)

Thanks, again ;).

Next week would be nice.

I am gonna watch this, I hope it does have a nice and FAIR copy protection system, a personal licence key like reaper would be the best, as I may be interested in this new model of custom shop...

It will be C/R with up to 5 auths (or that is how it's been for a while) and currently if you clean install on the same HD, you just use one of the C/R's you've already used.

You're really going to love this one...

...SOLDANO!

a. Nice that it's not compressed/limited to hell! :D

b. I think I also enjoyed the very obvious ringing springs too (something I've learned you CANNOT avoid with trem guitars.....blocked or not!)

That is hardly ideal, but it could be worst...

I will really keep looking for news on Amplitube.

Thanks.

The 1x12 Open Modern cab is based on a VHT Pitbull. 8)

now this sounds really nice - the Soldano clip sounds awful though - only braindead zombies listen to crap like that... :hihi:

Yeah, not the sound that comes to mind when you think "Soldano". Would be nice hear some lead playing.

See, this is what confuses me. I listen to that soldano track and think "interesting" but it's not quite what I personally would try to achieve. HOWEVER, when it comes to playing in a mix, I'm certain it's "that sound" to some degree.

*sigh* after all these years I'm just more and more confused about what is that great tone and what isn't. I've posted a ton of clips and have received very little feedback so it's hard to know what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong.

I like all the tracks I've heard so far other than how squashed some of the tracks are (unless there is a limiter in 3.5 it makes it obvious that outboard gear was used.....hmmmmmm maybe t-racks???)

Totally agreed.
Sounds more like a Peavey Valveking 112 to me ... :-o
Here's some real Soldano tone :

especially the closing solos
(probably with a little boost from a Klon at times, for convenience mostly)
Also check out '90s era Knopfler, Clapton, Gary Moore, Lukather ...
Very different tones and players, but the Soldanos can be heard clearly - think JMP Marshall with a shot of Mesa MkII mixed in, ideal for fat, singing lead lines and, with the guitar volume rolled down, capable of decent crunch- and clean tones, though these sure weren't the reason behind most Soldano purchases.

PS: Not judging the AT Soldano right now, only the soundclip
