Just wanted to chime in and say that I think this synth is a winner! Simple but flexible architecture, clean interface, and, above all, a great sound. I would have happily paid for this. Ten minutes after installing this I had a new track going with sounds from scratch.

This is a great synth, Urs, with a fantastic sound!
And excellent job on the presets, everyone. Such great variety, I love it!

I want to say thank you too. Great instrument, tight sounds (filters and envelopes). The presets make an impression, and they're a good starting point.
With the modulation possibilities, there is no telling what we're going to hear out of this synthesizer.
A great gift to the music-making community!

'played with it today. Great sound, clean UI (some elements are a bit small-ish) - but it also seems to be a little CPU monster: on some pad sounds up to 50% on my core 2 duo system, up to 100% on my netbook.

That's to be expected. Urs seems to shoot for no-compromise sound in his synths and it comes at the expense of CPU. On the bright side, it'll still sound great in a few years.rl wrote:'played with it today. Hands down, this is the best free synth I've tried. Thank you very much, Urs!
