Hi!
Thx a lot for the new release.

But I got a (noob) problem: I can't get it work in Logic 9 (OS 10.6.7).
Maybe I miss something: how can I send MIDI from Kirnu to AU instrument?

I've tried something in the environment, but without success.

Any suggestion?

Realtime = holding down a chord on a midi keyboard for instance?

Yeah, it'll do arpeggiated sequences from your single note input. Or, a midi file for that matter.

Any help would really be appreciated. This plugin looks awesome but I can't get it to work.

I'm working in Mixcraft 5 in Windows 7 64-bit.

When I downloaded the 64-bit version the plugin doesn't even show up. I assume this is because Mixcraft only allows 32-bit plugs (I believe) so I downloaded the 32-bit plugin and it shows up fine.

I create a new instrument track (synth) and set that to receive MIDI from all channels and then set Kirnu to receive MIDI from the synth.

When I hold down a note I can see the notes working correctly in Kirnu but I get no sound at all......

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong???

Thanks so much in advance!

It's

Midi(keyboard) -> Kirnu -> synth

I'm not sure if this helps, but when I use Reaper I put the Kirnu before the VSTi in the chain.

I don't get what I'm missing :(

I have USB MIDI controller plugged in.

Track 3: Kirnu - Receive from all MIDI channels
Track 4: Synth - Receive from Track 3.

Kirnu see's all the notes I play but they don't make a sound. I'm going out of my mind :(

So the synth is not recieving midi from kirnu ?

Can you set kirnu midi out to 2 and synth midi in to 2 ?

Just trying to help, don't know Mixcraft :(

I don't know how your host works, but in Cubase you also need to have the synyh's track "armed".

Thanks everyone for trying to help. I really do appreciate it. It looks like this is not possible in Mixcraft, and if it is, I can't figure it out. There is only a "Receive from" option.

To make sure I wasn't crazy I installed Reaper and within 5 minutes I was using Kirnu with no issues. I went into the I/O section and it was a snap. Apparently there is no way to do this in Mixcraft which is kind of unbelievable but I have gone through every right-click and option menu and can't find a darn thing. I've tried every combination of arming tracks with no luck.

It's too bad I really like Mixcraft but I may keep Reaper around for using this synth, and any other 64-bit plugs I may come across.

If any Mixcraft users pop on, let me know!

Thanks!

Don't even need to mess with I/O in Reaper. Just load Kirnu and a synth after on the same track and away you go.

Cool! I got word back from Mixcraft Support that I'm not crazy! They don't support "routing" yet apparently.

That's bizarre for a DAW, and especially when it costs almost twice of what Reaper does.

My thoughts exactly.
