Rhino FRs

Whilst playing about with the awesome Rhino (still can't believe I got it for 35 euro!) I had a few thoughts on a few potential additions. For what it's worth here they are:
User path - it would be nice if during installation you could define a second path for Rhino to load your SFZs from to save having to set them up in the default folders.
MIDI Channels - considering Rhino's ability to produce bass, leads etc all from one preset, it would be great to be able to assign each OSC a different MIDI channel.
Multi Outs - it's a shame the flexibility of Rhino's synthesis and modulation isn't completely carried through with the audio routing. A few more options here (combined with multiple MIDI channels) could really open up a wealth of possibilities.
Step Sequencer - I would love to see an extra user column here. It could either be set to control one of the existing user sliders or act as a seventh slider tied to the step sequencer. This would add a whole new layer of rythmic modulation and FX.
Anyway, massive thank you to Big Tick. Even without any of the above Rhino is the best synth on my hard drive by a mile.

I agree with the sfz thing. Multiple channels/outs, I'm not sure because everything follows a stereo path internally.

I also have a FR for the step sequencer: have an option to send midi out from the step sequencer.


The main difficulty is that between Zen and 64bits port, I feel like all my time for the upcoming year is already being booked. And I still need to work on my new synth too....

Fair enough. As I said Rhino is pretty awesome just as it is - would be great if you get a chance to squeeze the sfz thing in at some point in the future though. Oh and if the new synth is anywhere as good as Rhino and Zen already are then you can count me in!
