I'm on a Non-Intel G5. I've got Kontakt Player 3.5 and run Digital Performer 7. I also have Mach5 2.
Do I need another player to run any of these? Or do they open in what I've got?
Thanks.

For the SampleTank-based virtual instruments in this group buy you should be fine. But if you want to test drive it and see first then go to www.ikmultimedia.com and download the free cut down version of SampleTank and try running that on your system. If that works then you're good to go as all of these plug-ins are based on that engine.NealF wrote:I'm on a Non-Intel G5. I've got Kontakt Player 3.5 and run Digital Performer 7. I also have Mach5 2.

Hey Rev, I was wondering where you were. Glad to see you here. It's starting to feel like old timesReverend Rhythm wrote:Oh good! An esoundz group buy! I've been gone all week, and look what I found when I returned! Lets go!
I've did umpteen GB's and never been disappointed once yet. So why am I plugging Esoundz? Because they're the "real deal" and if we all support them they're stay around and I get more great deals. It's just that simple. So for those who are new or hesitant, just me a message or the other veteran GBers. Hopefully you'll refer me when you place your order (sorry for the shameless self promotion

For anyone thinking about this deal, please try the demo. I think you'll see the value here, but in any case you will get a good look at what's here.

Thanks Gunnar! That's really cool of you. Allen is giving you $5 in epointz just for making the gesture and I hope others refer you as well so you get even more. It's that kind of spirit that makes these group buys work. Spreading the word. Keep in mind that anyone who didn't know about it that hears about it and it's something that will help their music making is going to be grateful anyone made the effort to tell them about it. Especially if they're on a budget because one can get a lot of bang for the buck from a group buy like this.Krabat wrote:Still not quite shure, whether I'll jump in, but I spread the word at german forum 'homerecording.de'
HTH, kind regards, Gunnar

Not a group buy question, but i'd be interested in that one:
Cinematic effects
http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=4201
Unfortunally here isnt much information samples wise, are this just 400 instruments = 400 samples mapped along the pitches ore is there multisampling and round robin going on?
Since it's only 1,4 GB big 48+44 samples = 700MB actual samples?

I just ordered SampleTron! I haven't got any commercial Tron soundsets (though I have some awesome free ones like Tapeotron and Tapeworm but these don't include the Chamberlins and Optigans) and the demos sounded just gorgeous.
I was thinking of going for the full Miroslav (and I will do that pretty soon I guess) but I already have GPO4, Kirk Hunter's Solo Strings and Pop&Rock strings, the stuff that comes with Kontank 3 (and soon 4
) so I've already kinda covered my orchestral bases (there's still a place for the awesomeness that is Miroslav though
). So it was more important to me to get a comprehensive Tron collection, especially since I love Mellotrons and their cousins so much.
Anyway, great offer!
I look forward to ordering from you again.
PS. just a thing: I think the esoundz website needs a revamp or something. It's not difficult to use - just a bit depressing. Not trying to be an asshole, just a thought. It's certainly not going to stop me from shopping from you again!

Also question: when/how do I get the products I ordered?

I may just drop onto this for SampleTron, the only one I have missing (use the rest ALL the time!)

Typically, Allen drops the serial number into your esoundz account. You register it at IK and can download the goodies from there.TristezaOrange wrote:Also question: when/how do I get the products I ordered?
Note that you usually don't get a notification when the serial is put into your esoundz account...it just appears! (so be sure to check often...

I totally agree and if you can find the CSR reverb (for example) without using the search function then Ill jolly well say you are a better man than I
