My sources tell me that the Fender '65 Princeton will be a free additional model to those that have purchased Amplitube Fender suite through IKMultimedia. Can you confirm this Brian?Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote: My sources tell me we are one month away from opening the doors on the AmpliTube Custom Shop. I think I already saw a couple shiny new Fender Princeton Reverbs and Orange AD30 combos being setup in the window...
Amplitube next models? What will they be?

I just roll with the punches, I realize some are probably not going to appreciate my smart-ass comments but this tude has been a long time in the making. (years)
IK undoubtedly makes really great sounding plugs, hell, some of them even work as advertised
But I've seen this before and eventually you've just got to understand this is the way IK is.
Anyways, here is a fun (smartass) thread with a poll in the meantime for our amusement while we wait:

I'm excited about it. I've never been disappointed by an IK release, though I didn't know about them in the days they missed their release date by a lot. I also know better than to expect anything and instead just try to be presently surprised when I get the email announce that it's shipping.

I prefer to be surprised with an email than teased for a while with 'sneak peeks' and 'coming soon'...but again it's not just IK or music either. I hate it when the local news does it everyday enough to the point as to record the news and fast forward through the parts I dont care about (which means about 50 minutes of every hour I FF throughzerocrossing wrote: try to be presently surprised when I get the email announce that it's shipping.
A new movie comes out, three weeks ahead of time they are show you the funniest parts (I prefer comedies)non stop, am I suppose to laugh at the same joke I have seen 50 times on tv already?
Obviously I have given this too much thought
Tell me about it when I can whip out the ca$h and get it, but hey that's just me and I'm sure I'm in the minority and am probably guilty of it myself in my own way

Yeah, I remember really be interested in AT2 and Ampeg. Then they announce them again at the next namm
Then they went all stinkrosoft
Then when they lifted that, I demoed and bought them
It's a really simple formula........too bad about that lack of talent on my end

There's a two day test period for any of the gear, during which it is fully functional, after that, you have to wait two months before you can demo that peice of gear again.
Once your account has been activated and gear credited to it, you can download the free player and access your gear from any computer anywhere, which makes it a more portable system.
This represents a new generation of in-app purchasing that is not tied to the Apple App store and could be a glimpse of the future..

At the end of the video it sounded as if it wasn't going to be 64bit for OS X yet. True?

My vote was for ponies, so I'm not qualified to predict, but I feel they are actually ready to shove it out the door.
I can just see the headache now, presets not working, amps that are supposed to be mine not unlocking. Anyways, I'm worried.

My legal sources tell me that IKMultimedia should include the Princeton in the Fender suite as an update to more accurately convey the claim "12 of the most influential guitar amps of all time", whilst the Fender MetalHead amp currently included in the above mentioned suite is clearly not in that status and can therefore be dumped.Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:Festeringheap, no the Princeton Reverb will not be a free addition for AmpliTube Fender users...
Looking forward to seeing how modeling has improved over the last 2 years.
