You don't need to. If you got SampleTron from esoundz then the Squids Tron Extras (the sounds from Squids Tron that aren't in SampleTron) are going to be an optional freebie to pick. We'll be announcing the full list of freebie options soon which are additional libraries for SampleTank for no extra money. That's why we're saying this deal is so good! It's crawling to 100 slowly but surely. If you guys go out and spread the word on forums, blogs and anywhere you can it could speed up the process of getting to 100 and increase the chances of getting to 200 or more since each 100 point has something extra as a bonus.

OK, got it, you talked me into it, guess I'm easy, but now I'm in for double the fun.

Elliot Randall once emailed me about a "Roy Smeck" Harmony guitar I was putting back to original and had posted on some forum looking for a pick guard, let him know I still have it. I was pretty surprised to get a note from a guy whose played some of my favourite all time guitars solos.

Getting closer to the first free library choice. We're putting that together now! Gonna be a nice selection of SR SampleTank libraries to choose from.

I really don't have anything useful to add; I bought all 5 VIs in the last group buy, as well as libraries from IK and SR. Great customer service experience all around. Can I get in on this if I buy an Expansion Tank or T-RackS title?

Are you coming out with new titles for ST3? (Tankstation Gold? Maybe something based on the newer drum libraries?)

Just found it under Sonik Synth\I Elements B\M Misc Elements - Chip Munch..had a good laugh first time I heard that one.
I always have to sit and listen to the sound of my kids eating chips during movies...perhaps I should get them back by writing a sequence with that sound in it and blasting it when they are trying to sleep.

and yes, there is also "Soda Open" and "Soda Sip" in there hehe

I believe a chip munch/soda sip duet ended one of our long jams a while back. Hard to top it really, especially when (as always) played an octave or two below pitch.

Ok so in last years group buy I got Sample Tank 2.X, at least that what it says when I load it as a vst instrument in Cubase 4, so is this the same as Sample Tank 2.5 XL that's being offered now or would this be an upgrade? I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I'm really new to all this. I didn't even download all the expansion packs I got in the last group buy. I guess I didn't realize that there was a time limit.

Haha. Yeah that was from a vibe and mallet session we did at Calarts years ago. Boy we really put everything but the kitchen sink into SS2!

If you bought SampleTank 2.5 XL for $300+ish then you have it. But if you're talking about SampleTank that was in the XpansionTank Group Buy then no you don't have the full XL (which is the ST library).

One thing to note. Yes, unfortunately when you buy download libraries from IK there is a time limit in which you need to download them. Not sure how long that is. But you can try contacting IK support to see if they can help you there.
