I played a Vintage Hot Rod '52 Telecaster today, that's a helluva guitar. Each of its three tones blew away all eleven tones of the American Deluxe Strat HSS that was sitting next to it, not to mention the two PRS's I picked up.

That's terrible. I don't care what sort of emotional "damage" he might have caused by his actions, there's no excuse for wrecking his personal property in revenge - and I'd say that about anything, not just a musical instrument.Ian B wrote:No interest at all in this guitar, but the reason for the sale is![]()

I hope, somewhere, there's a police charges sheet with her name, "criminal damage" and a note "This is a lesson to all about mindlessly destroying your cheating ex-boyfriend's property" on it.
What is it with people these days, absolutely no self-control?! (Applies equally to both parties in this case.)
And it is as it is and we take as we find / Always next season's buds on the bough / But I'll never find a better time / Hard though it is to allow / I'll never find a better time / To be alive than now

I take it you've never felt that beautiful and satisfying feeling of revenge.Lost_Highway wrote:That's terrible. Well. Two weeks ago I finished building this one;

A Pine-caster.
Now it belongs to my daughter which leaves me with a good excuse to build me a new one.
This time it will be a neck-thru baritone Telecaster but I'm not too sure of the wood selection yet. What I'm sure of is it will be a chambered and Rosewood covered body

Just scored a Matsumoku made '78 Memphis. While most Memphis guitars aren't that exciting a few of their higher end models were similar to set neck Gibsons or neck thru Alembics. This puppy is neck thru with fully rounded edges and DiMarzio SDS pups....it just shipped from Cali today should have it next week....can't wait to get me mitts on it!!
It's the darker of the two in these pics:
